These were so easy to put on and I love all of the different options for colors as well as making it go to the music if you play music. The stickiness is enough to where they do not peel off. I have had them on for about two weeks and they have not budged. I love the remote and all of the options that you can choose from the remote super easy. This is a nice RGB strip, considering the price it's ok. Some features that could be better: The remote has 16 colors, if you want more colors you will need the app, the app is ok but it is very invasive because it requires GPS location on. It's fairly bright, but not for bright rooms, with lots of windows during the day you will barely see it. Better for dark rooms. The USB cable could be a bit longer, you'll need to plan where you connect before sticking it to your TV, otherwise you'll need a USB extension. Just so you know, this RGB strip will not change colors according to the colors on your TV. ... show more

Love this rope light. Didn't use this as a TV backlight. The LEDs are super bright and have great mode functionality. I didn't use the app because I have too many different rope lights around and I can't keep track of them all. The card remote works great for cycling through the colors and modes. The diffuser is great and the LEDs are spaced closely enough that there aren't any hot spots through the diffuser. Light strip seems to work fine. overall, quality of build and parts seem very cheap. comes in a very small plastic clam shell. It does work for my use. we will see how long it lasts.

I have a son who’s a streamer, and he’s been giving his gaming room a full refresh. These LED lights looked like a great fit for adding a cool glow around his monitors — and so far, they look promising. Right off the bat, I liked that the lights came on a spool. That made them feel more organized and easier to manage for installation. The remote is super straightforward, and there’s also app control, which is great if you don’t want to fumble for the remote all the time. The strip itself looks well-made and flexible enough to wrap neatly behind screens or furniture. The colors and options on the remote give a lot of flexibility — including music sync and brightness control. Everything powered up just fine with USB, which keeps it clean and simple. They haven’t been installed yet, but first impressions are really solid. If the quality holds up, I think they’ll be a great long-term addition to his setup. I will start by saying that when I saw this packaging it reminded me of some cheap art paint brushes you got in school....you do get the rgb led strip, remote, a usb connection dongle and a card to help you get the app on your phone. The app actually is pretty basic but connected to the dongle device automatically. I did not have to do anything and it synced right up. I will install later and give feed back after a few movies but im not actually sure how it will sync up with movies to show any type of accurate tones of light corresponding with what's going on on the TV.
