I bought these about a couple months ago and was overall satisfied with them. However my dad just moved his radio equipment in the garage and saw something was interfering with his repeater. After much investigating we found out the LED lights were giving off RF which is actually pretty harmful and if exposed long enough can cause major health issues and can even cause death. That particular set was more expensive, SHORTER, adhesive was weak, installation was so stressful....but these...EASY PEASY!!! We bought these LED lights for our son’s room (11 y/o) not expecting too much based on the affordable price. We bought 2 sets....and were SHOCKED at how easy they were to install, how incredibly high the quality was, how easy they were to control with the remote as well as how easy it was to group the sets together and use the app on our phones to control them. The features, varied colors, and ability to link them to the Amazon Alexa to sink the sound with the lights, is amazing! Not even one year later and half the lights are out and not working. They likely won’t come off without Damage to the wall so replacing is not an easy option.

These leds worked out great for my sons room. There are so many to choose from on Amazon but I ended up with these and everything worked as it should. It’s important to take note to unplug it from the wall and plug it back in three times for the app to work. I did not use the adhesive to stick to the wall. I used command sticky hooks. The ones that look like they would hold up fairy lights. I did this because we are moving and I want to be able to reuse the lights. They are very bright. I wish the LEDs could be closer together to make it look more streamlined but then it would be extremely bright. The only reason why I did not give it five stars is because the white box with the white wires that connect to the led strips and the power unit shorts out if I have it in a certain position. I taped it to the wall where it’s very steady and it doesn’t short out. Keep in mind that these are two separate strips of 32 feet that hook to the one box. So basically I started the two ends at the corner farthest away from where I wanted to plug it in, I attached one end one way around the ceiling and the other end the other way around the ceiling and ended at the opposite corner of the room. Then I came down the wall with the two strips together and plugged it in at the floor. I taped the white box to stay in place. ... show more
