These headlights are excellent. Initially I purchased a set of decent looking ~$150 replacement lights from another vendor. I searched high and low for a set that I liked. I really didn't want "eyebrow" style DRLs. And my first purchase had a more unique look. That first set required cutting and splicing the vehicle harness. It has some issues with the bulb retainers but after I solved that, the fit and finish looked pretty good. I was quite happy with them though until I attempted to drive at night. You can find my full review of them elsewhere, but to make it short, they were pointed nearly directly down at the pavement 10 feet ahead and were already adjusted to their maximum hight. As fate would have it, I needed to get my daughter from the airport 2hrs away and I was pretty angry. I had to jam pool noodles under them to get them tilted high enough to make the drive. I returned them the next day and shortly after I landed on these. These are much, much higher quality. They fit perfectly, no cutting up factory wiring, and best of all they aren't focused straight at the ground ahead. I initially really balked at the price, but this is absolutely a case of getting what you paid for. Everything was plug and play. It all fit correctly in the first try and it even came with good instructions. Comparing cost to fully install, if I had bought these before I had purchased LED headlight replacement bulbs, LED marker lamps and turn signals, the cost is more on par from a final value perspective. I had one stock headlight that was very cloudy and I know from past experience that polishing them out is a temporary solution. A single replacement housing from gm would be at least the price of this entire set. Looking at it that way, they are a stellar deal. In the end I really love the look. I only have a few tiny nits to pick. First, I have an LED turn signal flasher installed in my truck. It's kind of dumb to install LED lights but add a power resistor to emulate a in incandescent bulb. You basically waste all the efficiency that LEDs provide. It might not matter to some, but I prefer to have the extra charging capacity available for additional off-road lighting, winching, etc... I initially removed the ballast resistors on these lights. They are simply in parallel with the light and there should have been no issue from removing them since I have the correct flasher. That is not the case. These lights will not work correctly without the ballast resistors. Everything works perfectly unless your parking lights are on. If they are, turn signals will no longer work. I finally reinstalled the ballast on a whim, and they worked correctly. Second, all of the harness connectors that interface with the vehicle on these are reversible. That's intended to allow you too get the correct polarity for each segment of the light. That's potentially a decent solution if the lights had more than one application. They don't. So every vehicle these fit in should have the same polarity on the factory harness side. Gm doesn't pin it's connectors willy nilly. There is absolutely no need for these reversible connectors when the lights only work on one application. Third, the plug in solution to the factory bulb sockets could really use some better engineering. As supplied there is nothing that physically locks the connectors together. They proved you with a adequate sized roll of fabric wire loom tape and advise you wrap connectors with that. I did, and they are secure for now, but I think it's unlikely to really stand up to the elements and frankly, just time in an engine compartment. If they do start to cause issue, I'll probably rewrap everything with self vulcanizing rubber tape .

Killer headlights. These headlights are built well and look great. Install is super simple, all plug and play. A little extra wiring you will have to tuck back. They are super bright, the only downside I've found is that the high beam is a little narrow, but still plenty bright

I've had several iterations of the factory knock-off replacements and each of them was slightly less quality than the previous. Time for a change. These lights have an updated layout, and the blackout appearance during the day, both look good to me. The sequential turn signals work well and look great! The headlamps for night driving are exceptional with bright white light, excellent cutoff pattern and a long throw. You can see with these babies! It's thrilling that I have not had oncoming traffic flash their brights at me, although I thought it would happen. Installation was tedious. The left side took an hour to install, the right side 15 minutes after learning to deal with the (odd) connections. The polarity to each lamp has be be determined by trial and error. As noted in the instructions, the load resistors do indeed get hot, and I suspect may become unreliable. Pay attention to wire routing! I did not use the supplied friction tape to wrap the electrical connections. I figure there has to be a better way, but it hasn't come to me yet. So, I will improve these later, and before winter. So, I see these as a worthwhile upgrade for now. And one that will need some tweaking down the road.

Update: its been just over a month, the driver side does not light up with the unlock function, up until today the passenger side turn signal would hyperflash if the headlight switch was in the auto position, easily fixed by putting in the on position. However, today, another one of the leds already went out and it is hyperflashing constantly, which is annoying especially because I cant replace just that one, i would need to buy a whole new set. Pretty upsetting how quickly they downhill. They are gorgeous. Just installed about 30 minutes ago, took a minute to figure out which way they plugged in to work correctly but was very easy to hook up and unhook. They came very nicely adjusted already, minimal adjustment required. There is a bulb out in the passenger turn signal though, but the function still works. It was stuck in hyperblink for whatever reason, but stopped on its own.
