This is a great light with a great stand. My only issue with it is that the remote is clearly for some other device and is all over the place. There are seperate on and off and sleep buttons, but they all just turn it on and off as a toggle. The brightness plus and minus will also change the color temperature some times. For me, it's set where I want and turns on and off and works great. I have two units for a web cam lighting setup and both work from the same remote. Because of the on off toggle, you have to careful to keep them in the same state.

First thing you will notice is this baby is like a white dwarf star. When you first turn it on, it WILL feel like a personal attack if you are looking directly into it I wish I could split this light into two, equally dimmed equivalents because I use it on the lowest setting and I still have to darken my webcam settings for my stream. Having only one point of light at this brightness is kind of a waste of resources, but the plus side is you can place it on the other side of the room, pointing any direction and still light yourself more than sufficiently. The telescoping stand that comes with it is a little short, fine for mounting on your desk, but it limits the lighting angles available to you.

I use this light for video chats for my computer and it does the job. Multiple brightness settings makes it easy to find the right brightness for any light situations.

The light is great and works perfectly. I'm using it for making videos and to offset the Seasonal Affect Disorder that comes with the super short days of winter. The gear is five stars. Yeah, the build quality of the parts could be better, but at its price point, and for what I'm using it for? It's totally legit five stars. I'm marking it down to three stars because the seller sent me an obvious open box unit. The seals were cut on the box, it was missing the batteries that the informational insert indicated were included and the plastic protective coverings were missing from all the pieces.

It’s alright for a starting light for things

I use them for web conferencing at home. They attach nicely to my sit-to-stand desk. Caution: Do not turn them off with the remote and then leave. If there is a power blip, the lights will turn back on at FULL intensity! I worry about over-heating and a fire danger. I plug mine into a power strip and then turn that off when I leave the room.

Great Lights for Streaming, Photography or Videography. Highly recommend! I bought 2 wall mounted shelves and secured to them. Comes with remote. Light brightness can be adjusted. It doesn’t have batteries which is fine with me but review asked about batteries which is irrelevant to this product.

We needed a very bright light and this definitely met that requirement. Great for lighting to shoot photos and video. The light panel does get a little hot. But it works great.
