This product is absolutely incredible!! Converted my 2000 EK3 Honda Civic here in Jamaica from automatic to manual and put this setup into it....I must say it is an incredible feeling. This rod coupled with the weighted 5speed shift knob from skunk2 makes an impeccably amazing duo. The gears are very near to eachother and tight and extremely smooth, you’ll never miss or grind a gear with this setup. Make sure to Include the prothane red shifter bushings to go with it to really give it that ultra silky feel as I managed to create out of a 21 year old car.     • Near OE quality shifts.
Improved shifter feel and shorter throws. Weight of shifter works well with a weighted shift knob. This shifter does feel a slight bit notchy compared to the OE shifter, but overall marked improvement over the original. Installation proceeded fine, two issues arose - 1) rubber boot over shifter ball was a pain to get on, 2) Skunk2 supplied bolt was too short to use, so the OE bolt was reused. ... show more

Solid construction, comes with bolt and hardware set. I reused the rubber shields of of the shifter joint from the stock shiter. It was a lot of work to get the included hardware to fit in the joint with both washers and rubber shields. After getting everything in place the whole arm feels really solid. Tip: Use every piece of hardware they give you, don't leave out any washers or it'll rattle ... show more

I don't have anything bad to say about the dual bend short shifter from Skunk 2 racing it definitely makes a difference when shifting gears I'm very impressed with the quality and enjoy the short throws it gives instead of replacing the stick parts that was needed it's definitely a nice cheap mod to do ... show more
