This stuff is awesome and I wish I’d bought it earlier. That being said, it’s not perfect. It’s more of a 4.5/5. The material isn’t real leather and it is rather thin. If I installed it again, I’d put something like felt or foam underneath to fill in the dip in my seat. Also, the adhesive is pretty strong but may have trouble sticking to the corners. I recommend having glue nearby (I used e6000) to reinforced the stubborn edges that don’t stick to the seat. I also recommend drawing a pattern of your seat and tracing it to the patch so you only have to cut once and don’t waste material. The better you cut, the better it will look!

The adhesive did not hold for more than a few days. I applied it to a clean dry car seat. I let it sit for 48 hrs. After about a week the adhesive gave loose.

I have to be honest, I expected so crappy patch and was OK with that because I needed a big patch. But this thing looks awesome and works well. I will update after a while but my initial impression is that this is a great fix!

I'd give this material 5 stars if the adhesive was better. The appearance, texture, and soft feel is very good. Despite what others have said my roll does have actual perforations in it, though they are very small there are 100% holes there as you can see glue or cleaner go through them. My only issue, and it's a big one, is the adhesive is too weak and all of the patches have lifted around the edges were some other patch materials have held. So I've had to go back with secondary adhesive to tack everything back down. It's a big flaw if you want a 1-step patch, which is unfortunate because I really like the base material.
