She was immediately able to use it and was occupied by the books for about an hour before dinner. My granddaughter loves this. She is 4 years old and has been trying to read and this toy helps her so much. It makes reading time so much funnier for her. It helps her learn new words it is excellent. Easy to use, excellent value, works great. Would definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. To be honest, I thought the product was a little bit expensive considering how long the leapfrog pen and book have been out I expected this to be in the lake $20-$25 range not what I paid for it. So I did think that the product was a little on the high side The product was packaged really nicely came with charging components versus disposable batteries, which is a total game changer and a money saver comes with 10 different books and it was easy for my child to follow along. I hope that in the future, they get additional books that you can purchase for leapfrog separately it would be really nice if the leapfrog pen could read other books than just leapfrog books like if it could be compatible with all books for children that would be great. I think this is an amazing tool and helpful to children who are struggling with reading overall a great product. I would purchase this product again. I think it is a phenomenal product whether your apparent a teacher or just somebody who loves to help others read. ... show more
