    • Easy to use, teaches basic colors and numbers
The media could not be loaded. I like that this toy is easy to use and has lots of fun buttons to press. It’s primarily meant to teach toddlers about colors and numbers than ironing, but does give instructions on ironing. Though it’s not the most needed skill, it’s nice to have in handy. The on/off/volume button is on the side, and easy to move. The front section, where its “face” is, lights up in several different colors. It also plays music, makes sounds, and gives prompts. The prompts are the most useful, as they allude to specific colors or numbers. If the child presses the right button, they are praised. So I like that it makes learning feel more like playing! I do wish that it came with more garments, but they can always practice on other items. ... show more

Got this for my grand niece and nephews who are aged 3-7. Identifying the colors and clothes were fun. We are a quilting family so they were able to 'help' iron our fabric when needed.

    • Fun Learning & Activity Toy
I've always loved all the Leap Frog toys and this Ironing Time Set is no exception. Being a homeschool family we've always tried to pick out toys that will be fun during playtime for building imagination but also incorporate some learning into the child's activity time. With fun toys like this, the toddlers don't even know I'm having them do school time, they just have a blast ironing the little felt cloths that comes with it or their baby doll clothes. This toy features lots of buttons for little curious fingers and sings different songs on each "setting" you change the iron to. It teaches a tiny bit about colors, shapes, and numbers which is perfect for little ones as they can learn as they hear the toy repeat the little sayings throughout their playtime. It is super lightweight and makes the cutest little steam sound. I like that the volume is adjustable so that when the other children are doing their school lessons, the little ones can still play in the background without the sound being too loud or distracting. If your little ones like to help around the house this would be also a cute way for them to "help" alongside mommy or daddy as they do the real ironing. Overall a really fun and adorable toy that will encourage imagination and learning, how could that not be good? ... show more
