Store this in the pocket in my car door. Great for those unexpected showers. The construction isn’t great for high wind. Used it in a down pour already and it did a great job keeping me dry. The button to retract and expand the umbrella works great and is fast acting. Would recommend

I love how compact and durable this umbrella is. Its small enough to carry around in my bag and not bother me. I can easily pull it out and I'm shielded from whatever condition of rain is hitting and it's very easy to close and store away. The process for this umbrella is very simple.

I was looking for a compact umbrella to replace one I had lost. I came across this ‘LEAGERA Automatic Flat Umbrella’ on Amazon and was intrigued by the word ‘automatic’, so I ordered it. This umbrella is definitely ‘automatic’…to a degree…and I do like that feature. You press the button, and it pops fully open. And you press it again, and the umbrella portion goes flat. Now, the handle does not retract, but I guess that’s asking too much. I also like the fact that this ‘LEAGERA Automatic Flat Umbrella’ is, as the title states, is essentially flat…as flat as an umbrella can be. For me that’s good, because the space I keep it in in my Jeep is pretty compact. The company includes a nylon cover for when the umbrella is not in use. But just try getting it back in there. It’s a ‘no-go’ for me. The construction of this ‘LEAGERA Automatic Flat Umbrella’ is decent. The nylon is a little thin in my opinion. But the metal pieces and the mechanism seem ok. The open size is pretty average for a compact umbrella. All in all, this ‘LEAGERA Automatic Flat Umbrella’ is a great compact umbrella. I love a good travel umbrella. Usually there's a tradeoff between durability and size. The micro mini umbrellas are light and small in size but don't last very long. The double coke can size compacts tend to be made out of more durable materials but are larger. Granted you usually get an automatic open and automatic close with that. I've bought several such reliable umbrellas from big box warehouse stores. When you're backpack is already pretty heavy and full, a smaller, lighter umbrella is invaluable. This umbrella is the best of both worlds. It has that durability. It has the automatic open and close feature. It has a metal skeleton material as opposed to the fiberglass of my other travel umbrellas but doesn't seem any heavier or less durable. It takes up 1/3 to 1/2 the space of that other umbrella so it's a win win in my book. ... show more
