Really easy to install, great idea if your outside of the vehicle and you need to light an area. Installed about a week ago and turned the lights on and off with the Fob 3 or 4 times... went out today and tried to turn them on and it has stopped working. Probably better off to install regular switch instead of wasting your time and money on this! ... show more

Don't get me wrong this is a great remote switch, I will use it for everything, BUT I installed this on my bike and it is a lot of work to wire it into battery and into frame and everything and when it stopped working I installed plugs so I did not have to take everything apart again. It is a great switch but it is a budget item so put TX60 plugs in line where the module is and you will be golden! when it stops working just order a new one put in XT60 plugs and plug it in :) well that is my solution anyways... hope this helps! ... show more

**update* contacted seller and after some back and forth they informed me that they would send a replacement. Received but not yet installed.. will update after it has been used for a whole. /(original review)/The remote was the main reason to buy this. That said the remote is not labelled. The instructions did not cover the bottons. Mounting the control box under the hood was not that big a deal but the light bar became uncontrollable with the remote. Then it would react intermittently and then it stayed on permanently. I thought there was a bad ground but when checking the wiring the whole box came off the base and the picture included shows that even under the hood and an overhang the whole circuit board rusted and corroded. It was good while it worked but it's not for anyone who is actually gonna use the truck off road. Maybe on a city truck that's parked in a garage all night and babied. Just my experience with it ... show more

Bought this to run an existing light bar on my jeep. Fairly easy install. Works great, remote can turn on and off the light bar from a fair distance and can control it if my Jeep is off.
