Right away, you get that warm, slightly sweet spice—almost like cinnamon, cardamom, and creamy chai. The official notes (violet fig, muguet musk, and blonde woods) give it a smoother, more perfume-like finish instead of smelling like straight food. The result is a scent that feels soft, warm, and subtly addictive, especially in cooler weather. As it dries down, the musk and blonde woods come through more, giving it a cozy, skin-like warmth rather than staying overly sweet. Wow! I’m not one for sugary perfumes but this particular one i ordered smells really good. I am very impressed enough to write a good review. I usually wear Burberry and Estée Lauder original perfume but i took a chance due to a review i saw and it was worth the purchase. Great price. If it wasn’t for that, I doubt i would have bought it. Chai Épice is truly a chai tea/gingerbready gourmand fragrance, reminiscent of tea and cookies on a cold winter day. If you don’t generally like gourmand fragrances, this may not be for you. My only complaint is that the sillage is pretty soft, though the fragrance does stay present closer to the skin for quite a while. I wore some to bed one night and I could smell it on my wrist in the morning. I’m letting the bottle macerate in a drawer to see if that helps. Also, I would classify this particular fragrance as very feminine; That said, I don’t think it should stop anyone who wants to wear it from wearing it regardless of their gender.

**UPDATE: The seller sent a refund even though the refund wasn’t necessary since the bottle still held the perfume. Fast reply and quick to try and resolve any issues. I ordered this for my fiancé about a week ago and it just arrived with a chip in the glass. It was shipped through USPS so I have to imagine it was thrown around a bit (granted you would think a company that sells glass bottles would account for that). The missing piece of glass wasn’t in the box so I am thinking it must have left the store damaged. The chip isn't deep enough to cause a leak but it is sharp enough to cut you if you aren’t careful. I reached out to the seller but haven’t heard anything back yet.

This perfume is nice, but it didn’t completely live up to the hype for me. The scent is pleasant and wearable, but not very distinctive. It smells good when first applied, though it fades quicker than I expected and doesn’t leave much of a lasting impression. It’s fine for everyday use if you prefer something light and subtle, but if you’re looking for a bold or unforgettable fragrance, this may fall a bit short.
