  • Good product at great price for small jobs
Style: Siphon Ceramic Function
I needed a soda blaster for small jobs/projects. There are several ways to go for this but I am glad I tried this one. The product does very well with running soda and has a built in trigger with a container for the material being sprayed. It runs well with my compressor at their suggested PSI setting. A giant plus for them is their customer support. I had some questions before purchase and they answered within one business day or less which is remarkable these days. Not just for items made overseas but anywhere. Just don't be fooled into thinking you are going to use this to blast a truck frame or any big jobs. It does a good job on small jobs and that is what it is for. ... show more

  • Stuff you may want to know
Style: Siphon Ceramic Function
The gun works well. It does take a lot of air. 2.6 gal compressor is too small for continuous spraying. I had to pause every couple of mins to allow the compressor to refill. If you think you need a 12-LB bag of garnet, buy 20-LBS. My 12-LB bag ran out before I finished my project. I was using 120 grit, but decided to increase grit to 100. You'll be able to control the force and abrasion by changing time, garnet flow and distance. Safety glasses are a MUST!! ... show more

  • Handy and Reliable
Style: Ceramic Nozzle Blue
Lightweight but still strong enough for tougher tasks. I like that it’s compact and easy to store when I’m done.

  • convenient way to sandblast without blast cabinet
Style: Ceramic Nozzle Blue
I got this sandblaster for my husband, as he rehabs vintage motorcycles and does a lot of other things, for which he often uses a blast cabinet, which usually requires some setup. He liked the ease of setting this handheld unit up; this sandblaster is not too heavy to hold in the hand, but also is sturdy and rugged enough to do the heavy job it's required to do. And he liked how much easier it would be to do small jobs and things that can't be put into the blast cabinet. He found, though, right off, that the coupler that comes with the kit is too large for what is normally used to hook it up to the compressor that he uses (1/2 horse, 100 psi compressor); he had to use one of his own couplers (see photos). These were some of his observations: "In my experimenting with this unit, I used aluminum oxide grit to remove rust and old paint off of old stove parts (see photo). It required 2-1/2 tank fillings to clean one square foot of flat steel surface. For large jobs, repeated fillings is a problem; plus effectiveness of blast drops off at about 60psi, which happens quite soon if using a 1/2 horse, 100 psi compressor. My larger shop compressor at 150 psi worked perfectly. Constant shaking of the unit to maintain flow can be annoying, and finding the sweet trigger spot to allow blasting and not just air is an issue that goes with the shaking. It can be used in a cabinet, but then the constant refilling becomes annoyingly inconvenient, a situation that does not occur with a cabinet because grit is automatically recycled. In conclusion, I found the unit works well for impromptu small jobs where set up is time consuming. I would recommend that the tank be redesigned to allow better gravity feeding of the grit." ... show more

  • Great tool
Style: Steel Nozzle Black
Sanded down an old shotgun, and it really surprised me at the good job it did, I thought the nozzle tip was a little large as it used a lot of particles, but it did what I bought it for ; No complaints

  • $40= Unlimited possibilities.
Style: Ceramic Nozzle Blue
$40 and media the possibilities are endless. I have a lot of time behind blasting cabinets and working in a shop so I know my way around the blaster. I tried to buy one back in the day maybe 20 years ago, but it was a joke. so .. I had absolutely no expectation, but this hopper above the handle idea just works.! The thing will crank as much sand and air as you could supply. From woodworking crafts to car parts, to even firearm parts. it does it all. I’m totally impressed. I love it.! And if you’re using it just to get through a little part of your project that needs sandblasting it’s well worth it. Also you can’t beat the price. Again, I had the top loader hopper style. ... show more
