I needed a soda blaster for small jobs/projects. There are several ways to go for this but I am glad I tried this one. The product does very well with running soda and has a built in trigger with a container for the material being sprayed. It runs well with my compressor at their suggested PSI setting. A giant plus for them is their customer support. I had some questions before purchase and they answered within one business day or less which is remarkable these days. Not just for items made overseas but anywhere. Just don't be fooled into thinking you are going to use this to blast a truck frame or any big jobs. It does a good job on small jobs and that is what it is for.

After receiving a used/non-working unit the company was very responsive and shipped a functional replacement immediately—this was great. Product works as advertised, is very light and comfortable to use, and replacing nozzles is easy. I’d recommend taping and using a quick-release adapter on the inlet—not clear how well the threads will hold up (they were stripped bare on the first used unit). Lots of people commented that it chews through blaster medium, but it seemed like typical usage to me compared to a dedicated sand blaster :shrug: For anything but small projects you’ll be filling it a lot, which may be a blocker depending on your usage—but when you don’t want to pull around a dedicated unit or set up a siphon unit it’s super-convenient.

Worked decently. Definitely for smaller jobs. But went to use a 2nd time, and no abrasive was being sprayed. Pickup Nozzle was clogged but I couldn’t effectively troubleshoot it. Off to trash bin.

Picked this up for some light engine restoration and it works great, took the rust right off. The ceramic nozzle feels solid, and the gun is light enough to use, even for longer sessions. Used it for wood prep too, it did the job cleanly.

The gun works well. It does take a lot of air. 2.6 gal compressor is too small for continuous spraying. I had to pause every couple of mins to allow the compressor to refill. If you think you need a 12-LB bag of garnet, buy 20-LBS. My 12-LB bag ran out before I finished my project. I was using 120 grit, but decided to increase grit to 100. You'll be able to control the force and abrasion by changing time, garnet flow and distance. Safety glasses are a MUST!!
