This LE LEMATEC is a nice lightweight 3 inch sander. It is well designed and feels well made. It is capable of harnessing a lot of power. I can’t verify the max rpm speed, but it really gets going when you turn it wide open. The head on it tilts around easily. This features a safety trigger, which is effective at protecting against accidental start ups, while being pretty easy to click down and in to turn it on. You can manually adjust the air valve by sliding the switch up and down with your finger. This is pretty quite at about 80 peak db’s. ... show more

I originally ordered this sander because I liked the location of the speed adjustment on it. The 3" DA sander that I am presently using has the adjuster in an awkward location. Unfortunately it turns out that this sander is not orbital and is just a rotating disc sander. Now it is possible there is something wrong with the unit I received, but I made several attempts with it and the disc only spins versus orbiting. This is a bit of a bummer since it's built very well and has a very user friendly speed control. The location makes it easy to adjust when using while also being out of the way enough to not get moved accidentally. It also has a very unique tilting head feature that was not highlighted very well in the product description. This would be really handy for color sanding fresh autobody paint since it will make it so the sander will fit into place where a fixed 90 degree sander head would not. Just wish it was actually an orbital sander. ... show more

Well...it's a nice tool ..is it $96 nice? Maybe too early to tell. I like.how you can adjust the position but more often than not I leave it at a right angle. The noise level.is average but the tool does a good job polishing my motorcycle. I'd say if you have a bike this is pretty awesome. I like it anyways. I have a small harbor freight one. It works but this one is a bit easier to polish with.ill report back later after I use it a bit more. This is my inital impression. ... show more

Very neat little sander. A little smaller than anticipated, but this thing humms! I guess I'll have to get some 3-inch discs for it now. I love that it's pneumatic. Most of the sanders you f ind these days are electric, but if you have a big enough air compressor, pneumatic is DEFINITELY the way to go. Nice little sander, really. ... show more
