Order these for my wife and a pair $10 cheaper for myself. BUY These. Their worth the extra $10. Strap seems more durable. Plastic inside holding your weight seems more durable. I returned mine and bought these for myself as well.

I'm 125lbs and wear a women's size 8 shoe and these work great for me. I'm no snowshoeing expert but they work fabulously on easy to moderate difficulty trails. No slipping and I can keep up with friends in rentals just fine. Maybe you should get a better snowshoe for more money if you're really intense but these are perfect for all the popular trails in northwest Washington state. I've used them 4-5 times and saved a bunch of money and time from dealing with rentals. ... show more

i have purchased two other pairs of these snow shoes and we love them. my older daughters use them about 5 times a year and have had them for 5 or 6 years now and they are great product for the price. not sure they would last for the extremest but great for recreational use. I used these snowshoes extensively the first time. At first I didn't like them, because my heel kept slipping to the side, and large balls of snow collected under the front grips.....but later I moved my boots farther to the front, and they worked much better.
