I bought this cause this is the omly size and only non stick pan that doesn’t have the long handle that will fit in my breville smart oven. I wanted to make an omelet where you first cook it in the stove and then finish cooking it in the oven. I know there are other ways to do this.     • GREAT Pan w/lid
Don't be throoff by the price! I ordered this pan with the feeling I was going to return it. But the FIRST time I cooked in it (saute onions) and they actually browned instead of loosing their moisture and no brown I was hooked. I have used metal spoons and tongs in it with no scratches. Don't do stupid like use a knife to cut meet in the pan. It probably would scratch the surface. I will be buying additional pieces. I have my eye on the 2 piece set with the stock pot and frying pan! The set is about $70 cheaper than individually priced pieces. ... show more

    • Small pan with nice lid
While this is definitely a nonstick pan with nice lid, on my induction stove it only would heat on the smallest burner! And then it did not heat properly. I tried to cook a hamburger and it took a long time to cook it, and the meat did not brown. I have the same brand Le Creuset Pro nonstick pan in the crepe pan and the 11.5” skillet, and both heat up fine on my induction burners. I know not to overheat the burner, etc., but this 2.5 qt sauté pan and lid did not heat right on my induction stove. However, it is a lovely, nonstick pan, and might work better on a gas or regular electric stove. I had to return it despite the reduced price on July prime days. ... show more
