The color is beautiful and the lid definitely makes it achieve the pumpkin look. I both like and dislike the lid. Due to the smallish size of the mug in part, it doesn’t easily line up with the base. While using it for the intended purpose- as a mug- liquid frequently seems to come down the side. Not much if you are paying attention but it doesn’t add to the user experience. Build quality as a Le Creuset piece is up to expected standards. It hand washes well. If this were a larger 16-18 or even 20 ounce's it would be more worth the money and may also help in a quicker line up with the lid and base.
