  • Excellent
Size: 62 mm Color: Matte Grey/Blue Mirrored Polarized-580p
The sunglasses fit great! The lenses are a great color, so clear and have been very durable thus far. I have found them to be super comfortable and lightweight.

  • Fit my fat face
Size: 62 mm Color: Matte Grey/Blue Mirrored Polarized-580g
I’ve bought probably 5 pairs of these over the years. As they age and through sweaty days and whatever you face in the summer sun, the rubber parts eventually wear out and break. But I like the lenses and the fit on my face. I have a wide fat face and these cover all my needs. They are good clarity and the lense tint is nice. ... show more

  • Great for large noggins and wide faces
Size: 62 mm Color: Blackout/Grey Blue Mirrored Polarized-580g
These sunglasses are great for people with large, melon heads and wide faces. I have both and it fits great. I love the clarity of the Costa 580G lens. It looks like high definition in sunny weather (blue mirror). I know some of the reviewers were a little confused on telling the differences between 580G and 580P. If the glasses do not come with the peel-off sticker to show what the lenses are, one can look at the top right of the lens (if you are wearing them). If you are looking at them and not wearing them, it will be on your top, left-side of the lens. The glass version will only say 580. It will not have 580G on the lens. However, if it is polycarbonate, it will say 580P. That is how you can tell. So, if you have a big noggin, I highly suggest these. I paid a great price for them on Amazon (sold directly from Amazon and not a third party). ... show more

  • Couple Drawbacks for the Avid Fisherman
Size: 62 mm Color: Matte Black/Grey Blue Mirrored Polarized...
I am an avid fisherman both fresh and saltwater. I have been fishing since I could walk and have owned about every pair of sport sunglasses known to man. I have glasses for hunting, fishing, and golf as I am a firm believer in quality custom eyewear that functions best for each activity. I recently switched my fishing eyewear to Costa and have been pleased with overall fit, finish, and functionality. I started with standard plastic lenses but found I am a bit rough on my lenses. I finally bit the cost bullet and purchased my first polorized glass lens from Costa. They have performed well with only a couple drawbacks. They are slightly front heavy because of the weight of the lenses. You will find yourself pushing them up on your face from time to time during times of quick movements while fishing. I also find that they fog up easily when experiencing temp changes . They do have vents to combat fogging but this can be frustrating at times if you are forced to remove your glasses to see. Perhaps there are anti-fog treatments I will look into. Overall I appreceiate the quality of Costa products and service. Cheers ... show more

  • Went with the 580P Blue Mirror and don't regret it
The past few years I've been living off cheap sun glasses from various gas stations or thift stores. I didn't see the point to purchase a higher end option and risk getting them destroyed. After reading through multiple styles/brands/reviews of brands like Oakley, Costa, and Ray Bands I decided on the Permits by Costa. For reference, my review is about the 580P, which are plastic variation lens over the glass. As a coach for a youth soccer team - I was concerned of potential glass shatter during an event. Pros: - Permits have the vents on each side of the frame to allow ventilation. I've yet to have any issue with fogging or steam within the glasses. Living in South Florida, this is usually an on-going issue. - Before my purchase, I tried the 580P and 580G options on, while there isn't a huge difference in weight, the 580P are lighter and just overall more comfortable to wear for me. - Blue mirrored has the best glare/sun reflection which helps while out on the boat in the open water which I plan to use often this summer. Cons: - Price: While these are much higher than the ones I've purchased in the past, you do get what you pay for. I hope to have these for quite some time. With the lifetime guarantee provided by Costa - I don't have any concerns about this honestly. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with these glasses. I've heard a lot about Costas and never knew what the big deal was. Now I know what I've been missing all this time. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Great glasses
Size: 62 mm Color: Blackout/Copper Green Mirrored Polarized...
Read other reviews that said lens wasn't glass etc. These were 580G just like they said. Couldn't be happier. Great price ($100 less than the last ones I bought at Bass Pro). Fast delivery. I've used Costas for years maybe some of the complainers just didn't know what they were even ordering. You do have to pay attention when you are sorting through frame colors as some colors are only shown to be available with plastic lens. ... show more

  • Large faces
I do a lot of fishing and have a rounder face (aka fat face). I own 4 pairs of Costa Permits. Good polarized glass. I did notice my last pair had issues with the rubber parts falling off, like the glue they used sucked or maybe I got a lemon? Will be sending it to Costa for warranty repair
