They protect your eyes on windy days. The wrap around design gives you a secure fit. Very light weight the clarity is superb and scratch resistant. The case is also very nice and not bulky.

These sunglasses are great for people with large, melon heads and wide faces. I have both and it fits great. I love the clarity of the Costa 580G lens. It looks like high definition in sunny weather (blue mirror). I know some of the reviewers were a little confused on telling the differences between 580G and 580P. If the glasses do not come with the peel-off sticker to show what the lenses are, one can look at the top right of the lens (if you are wearing them). If you are looking at them and not wearing them, it will be on your top, left-side of the lens. The glass version will only say 580. It will not have 580G on the lens. However, if it is polycarbonate, it will say 580P. That is how you can tell. So, if you have a big noggin, I highly suggest these. I paid a great price for them on Amazon (sold directly from Amazon and not a third party). ... show more

2nd time writing review, Amazon took down because I mentioned price, which seems unavoidable when reviewing something like this. My wife bought them for me, I wanted them for a while but couldn't bring myself to spend so much on sunglasses, but I'm glad she did because I love them. I wore them trout fishing in flooded timber and It is crazy how well you can see through the water on a sunny glaring day. Better than any other polarized sunglasses I've had in the past. Are they worth it?? That's for you to decide... I love them and I feel like the quality is where it should be. I'd recommend getting the Costa straps as to not lose them in the lake. ... show more

Was scratch when my husband opened them for anniversary and could not return them because return date was expired that is horrible when u buy something for 300.00 and cannot return them get a replacement pair,they were a gift. Very disappointed.

I lost my glasses in the lake and I looked at the Costa website to buy a new pair. It was going to take more than a week to get them, so I looked at Amazon. Same glasses, same everything except I got them in a couple days with no shipping costs. Just another way Amazon gave me a better choice.
