Love this piece - it is on the large side for butter but fits an Irish butter perfectly. Looks absolutely amazing on the counter. For some reason it makes me really happy to use it, something about the lid :) I too ordered white and got sent sea salt (light blue-grey). This is a beautiful dish but it is big for a butter dish. I leave my butter on the counter so I think it will work. I did receive the wrong color. I ordered white but got the sea salt which is beautiful. I decided to keep it and maybe order the white in the future. I kept the sea salt and ordered another one in white. Guess what!
