Very pleased with this item. It is larger than most butter dishes. Super heavy, and even keeps the butter cooler out on the counter. The color was a perfect complement to our Denby china. Buy without hesitation.

I was using the butter bell before purchasing this- even with diligent water changes, the butter would eventually / occasionally start to mold. This Le Creuset option keeps the butter fresh for a long time- I have yet to have any go bad before the butter was all used up.
