I bought two of these sheets sets in California King in the light gray and darker gray colors- I decided on microfiber sheets because of their ease of care. I'd bought microfiber before and know they are so easy to put on the bed, store easily (take up less space), don't wrinkle (much) and are really soft. My concern was the possibility of them being too thin- I just bought two new mattresses with high quality thick mattress pads for our guest bedrooms and while I wanted easy to care for sheets (because they'll be pulled on and off for frequent washes) I didn't want cheap/thin sheets that would pill and feel terrible. These sheets had great reviews, but like a lot of other people, the negative reviews made me nervous. I'm so relieved though- these sheets actually have a little weight to them and are super soft. I washed them in warm water then let them air dry, only hitting them with the dryer for about 5 minutes to finish them off about an hour later (it's August in Texas). There wasn't a single wrinkle or loose thread in either set, and the material did not pill at all. I'm so impressed with the weight of these sheets- the microfiber sheets I had before (different brand) were super thin and light. They were fine for twin/kid beds and are still going strong without pills, but these are better quality- the weight, and the fact I can't see through them, plus their softness and easy to put on/take off has me so happy I ordered them! The sheets we sleep on in the master are awesome quality and feel great (cotton), but they are definitely tougher to care for (wrinkle/super thick) and difficult to put on our bed. I think I made a great decision buying these sheets for the guest bedrooms- the guests will be comfortable and it won't be a pain to change the bedding out and deal with the laundry. =UPDATED REVIEW= (March 11th, 2021) Mostly the same as below to be perfectly honest, with a singular caveat!! I bought two more sets because my pupper-girl started to tear into them. Unintentionally, mind y'all... so the caveat is that I would buy some trimmers and LOOK UP HOW TO PROPERLY TRIM YOUR PET'S NAILS/CLAWS!!!!!!! I'm being serious, you can really, really, really, TRULY HURT THEM! There WILL be blood... all over the place if it's bad enough. But maybe yer a-skeerd of hurting your beloved aminal (I know what I said). Well, use an LED light that doesn't hurt your eyes and shine behind/through the nails and bypass the quick (the fleshy, bleedy bit). Then use some dual sided (coarse & fine) nail file(s) to round them suggers off! Then you won't be like me buying a new set because you were too lazy to take care of your pet's nails. On.. top of ordering an additional set of a different color to make laundry day a lot easier on your memory. I still absolutely love these sheets. That's why I came back and bought two more. Crazy great price, dummy great value, stupendous feel, & amazingly great durability. So long as they don't get that initial tear. Don't be afraid to stitch it up by hand if yer low on green-backs. Speaking of, the dark grey and navy blue ones tend to be cheapest. Keep this in mind and they might last you longer than.. a year before a major tear if you have pets. Heck, they might last you a lot longer. But dem zoomies mang, I'm not gonna stop her! She's like an adorable tenk when the zooms kick in. Oh right, final note! I no longer have my window unit but a ceiling fan instead of having set up my floor fan. I still don't have any kind of overheating issues. Your experiences may vary but I suppose so long as some kind of circulation is happening it wouldn't be a worry on most any normal sheets. I will update further if the next two are not up to snuff like the first ones. =ORIGINAL REVIEW= Me and my pupper share my bed happily. Although her claws tend to... destroy all wally-worl sheets I buy. I found online that these happened to be quite resistant to most doggo claws and I figured... why not? There happened to be a deal going on at the time and I knew that with my Full sized memory foam mattress, the topper, and the adjustable bed frame... aaand past experience... that I would just need to order the Queen sized. Well it gets here, and just... slips on effortlessly and has stayed on ever since. It's not been even a few weeks so far and it's holding up better to the junk wally-worl wants to sell ya. I don't feel it gives me issues with the mattress getting hotter or anything like that. Then again I have a relatively high CFM fan and a window unit set to 66f... soooo it's not like I will get all that hot to begin with anyhow. Like I said the fitted sheet stays in place and moves with the bed as the frame adjusts to the different positions I tend to use it at. The flat sheet is good bit longer than need be but not quite as wide as I thought it was going to be. Surely more than wide enough for an actual Queen, albeit with predominately just length there to hold it onto the bed. So if yer the type that uses those kinds of sheets as intended... rather than being someone like me that uses it as a protective layer for the all too expensive mattress and topper your pupper is trying to make a nest out of.. Then I could imagine that you could easily pop yer feetsies out to cool off if you happen to like your feets not being all that hot whilst you sleep. In closing, I suppose I will buy a set or two more of these and even see if they have a comforter or a weighted blanket of some kind. Because where ever they got these sheets from, I can tell you that so far it's made quite well when it comes to raw feel and apparent durability. ... show more

I ordered the brown and expected it to be bit more of a terracotta w/a bit more orange. It is still a beautiful color and very soft. Just be ready to get a darker brown than pictured.
