I ordered these for the cooling effect, though I'm not sure they are, or do promote cooling. They are not cool to the touch like cotton, or some other fabrics, but they are not uncomfortable in the heat, especially if you use air conditioning, like I do! Sorry, can't tell you about if they wick sweat away (probably do) but I have the a/c on all the time in the Summer because I run hot. Almost sent them back because of the brushed microfiber-I'm not generally a fan because brushed fabrics tend to pick up cat hair easily, and since I ordered them in dark blue, I figured they would be bad for that. To my surprise, they are not. And I like the dark blue color, which looks lighter in the photo, but that was with much more light probably, like how they would look in the sun. What I love is the feel of the fabric! They are so soft, but have enough weight that they really feel good on your body and make you want to go to bed when you see and feel them! Sure, they do keep you warm too, when the a/c gets too cold. Their quality of the fabric seems top notch too-better than I've had in a long time. Enjoy! Haven't washed them yet, so don't know how wrinkle free they will be, or how durable. But I'm happy with them right now. ... show more

I wasn't expecting much but I definitely didn't want substandard either. I have been pleasantly surprised. Fits well on my queen mattress @ 14" height, pillowcases fit well, and mine arrived without bugs or odors as others have dealt with. Washed in cold water and tumble dried low before first use and they survived the experience. They are soft but not cloud-like. I definitely recommend these. The navy blue is quite vivid, & hasn't bled through to the mattress or me either. ... show more
