They are the right size for my window--I thought they'd be long, but they are fine. They block enough light for me to sleep in on Sundays & they are affordable & nice looking. Not the fawn cotton velvet I bought a roll of, but also incredibly affordable when compared to the curtains I'm making. I now own 6 pairs of these! They are heavy, very nice velvet finish insulated drapes. They wash up well and wrinkles drop out easily. The color is a rich forest green and they have a nice, high-quality feel and look. They install easily and slide well on the rod (I use the tabs). The best part is the insulation. Having a 100+ year old house, these are great to help reduce drafts and cost of winter heating (in a very cold northern climate). I am very pleased that they work well both for temperature and (if this is important to you), room darkening. For spring through fall, they draw nicely and hang well, condensed at the edge of the windows--they look very nice (esp. for the price) and yet are out of the way. These are great. Not 100% blackout, but they do a pretty good job for being so thin. Love the color and the velvet feel. Now I understand that to be a black out it needs to be double panel, which these are not. Great if you don’t need full black out but want something mostly black out and pretty.
