I turned them on and tried to let them sit for 20 minutes and they never got warm. Not to mention you have to jump through hoops just to get a return or to even give them back.

My boyfriend works outside constantly and was always complaining of his hands being cold or hurting and the handwarmers that we bought at Dicks Sporting goods were not working. These are perfect for the outside. The only issue is that the batteries (3 on each hand AA) weight him down. Maybe if they were rechargeable gloves they would be more efficient ... show more

    • Grate for winter rides
They are really nice for winter rides on motorcycles or ATVs. Don't get the to wet, lightly damp seems to be ok. I bought a pare of USB rechargeable batteries I use. They work great. They are pretty comfortable and a bit of a tight fit at first. They are not for rough work gloves.

I should have paid more and got something a little bit upscale. I'm trying different batteries thinking that it might be the strength of the battery but it's just these gloves don't get warm for me. Seems like most of the heat is on the back of my hand nothing in the fingers. Otherwise the craftsmanship of the gloves is really nice the interior is warm without the Heat activation. Bought them for my mom who always gets cold fingers when she's out. The gloves are bulky but they do work nicely and she said they keep her hands toasty warm when needed.
