I would call this hammock a premium product with a premium price tag but a less than premium service. I had mine delivered yesterday, went to assemble and realised that 3 x nuts, 3 x washers and 3 x protection covers were missing. No problem I thought, I'll get in touch and they'll expedite delivery. Unfortunately not so, I initially emailed customer support with no response. After a few hours I sent a message via their web chat function but no-one engaged. Bizarrely, I did get a response to the chat some 4 hours later asking me to send a picture of the manual showing the missing parts, even though I'd clearly articulated what they needed to send. I then got a further message stating they would 'verify it with the technical team'. What is there to verify, you sent me a product with missing parts which makes it unusable, just send them to me so I can assemble it! I then, a day later, got an email from them saying the items are out of stock and it will take c. 2 weeks to ship direct from the factory. Two weeks to ship some basic nuts and washers which are core components to the product, what is going on!? I can easily go to HomeDepot and buy them but the product literature clearly states the warranty will be invalid if using alternative parts. So, i've got a half assembled hammock which I now have to ship back, cant wait to see how that goes. Looking at the LazyDaze website, their core value is as follows which is a stretch: Our Value: Lazy Daze hammocks are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring both comfort and durability. I'd love to test the comfort and durability as it really does look like a quality product but you really need to sort your customer service out to a) respond in a timely manner and 2) quickly correct the situation. Dont make your problem, my problem..
