Best purchase I’ve ever made! I’ve never had a desire for a hammock, but spur of the moment decision had me purchasing this without hesitation. I’ve had it for about a month, and I’ve mainly been using it to lay out in the backyard and tan or just as a place to sit and relax as my dogs are running in the yard. It’s so comfy and there’s enough room for all 4 of my dogs to lay on it with me!( 2 rotts, red heeler & a chihuahua). My only complaint is that the plastic cap that comes on one of the slanted poles that hold the actual hammock was delivered damaged. However, the purchase includes a few spare items (caps for the slanted poles, caps for the base poles, springs for assembly, etc), so that was an easy fix. I would’ve liked to have used that spare cap later down the road from your typical wear and tear, but I’m glad the purchase actually provided spare parts. I highly recommend this hammock! If you go to local sporting or department stores, the base itself is around 100-200 $ and the rope hammock (with no inclusion of pillow/mat) is about $40. This purchase includes all of those things for a VERY decent price and so far, it’s held up pretty nicely. Highly recommend! ... show more

I ordered this simple hammock with metal stand included and I am so pleased. I went back and fort on what to order bc I really wanted a hammock but didn't want to spend a small fortune, especially knowing the only spot we have to set it up gets hit by sprinklers at night. I'm going to spray it with water proofing spray, but I've had this hammock for a few days and I absolutely love it. My brother put it together in about 10 minutes from opening the box to me sitting in it. It's swings but really only if you're pushing yourself on it. Otherwise if you just lay there relaxing it really doesn't swing much, which is great. You can swing or lay still. I lay in and watch movies on my patio. We live in a golf course community with small fake lakes in our backyard. It seems really sturdy but the weight capacity says it can only hold 260lbs, which my husband and I weigh more than that, so we haven't tested it to see if it can hold us both. I don't want to break it. But for $79 this is thee PERFECT one person or two little people hammock! And if it gets beat up by the elements, $79 doesn't feel like a waste. Great value and I hope it takes the abuse of our nightly sprinklers. I absolutely love it. The quilt ties on so it doesn't fly all over the place, it comes with a pillow that is comfy and also ties on. All in all a great buy! ... show more

I set this up by myself with no issues in less than 20 minutes. It is so comfortable and the cover is a nice addition! It does allow water to pool in the center a bit but I just flip it and let it dry. It also drys very quickly which is nice. Good quality but will not hold up against a teething puppy. I was able to easily tie all the pieces back together! So that’s a plus for anyone that might find a hole at some point. I did not have any issues with the stand or any of the parts being defective/breaking like I’ve seen some people comment about. ... show more

My first hammock! Easy to assemble, easy to get in and out of, comfortable. Components appear to be good quality. Only caution....in a strong wind may tip over. Mine did with two cement blocks on the stand. Has already survived two hail storms in two days. Great buy, would recommend it to anyone.

I didn't think I'd like the cover, but it is so comfortable. It will hold the water when it rains and did get a bit dirty. Even after washing it dinginess stayed. I just bring the whole hammock inside. And re hang it when I want to use it now.

We love our hammock but recognize its limitations: no big swinging or it will tip over (if you're not on perfectly flat ground at least) and the hammock itself is hot/scratchy to lay on on the hottest days (but it probably has to be to handle water and stains). But it's really easy to assemble/disassemble, adjust the hammock height, amazingly comfortable if you lay a soft towel over the hammock, and the price is right. I've had hammock stands that don't come with the hammock and never been able to match up the right hammock with the right stand. This is a comfy, well-priced, no-brainer. And it looks nice in the yard too! ... show more
