Really fairly simple to assemble. Use your own socket set. Their wrench works but is hard on the hands and coordination. It is solid and beautiful. Surprisingly, it is level.

This stand is beautiful and rock solid. I want it to work so badly, but it is too small for my hammock. I bought this size based on the recommendation from the hammock seller (not the stand seller), but I did notice a lot of other buyers for this stand said the same thing - too small! The hammock I have is just shy of 12 ft., and with the 10 ft. stand, the hammock would be on the ground if I had all of the hardware attached. Speaking of hardware, the package came with one extra nut, and it was short three washers. Bummer. I have to return it anyway since it doesn't fit my hammock, but make sure if you go with this stand that your hammock's length is pretty short.

The Hammock stand came quickly and had all the hardware and two simple ratchet type tools to help with assembly. It was easy for me to assemble it with out assistance. The company has a short instructional video on how to put it together, much better than the page with written directions. When I opened the box I noticed a moldy smell and a few black spots (mold) on the wooden pieces. The varnish is VERY thin and in some places it wasn't varnished at all. If you are going to use it outside; I highly recommend treating it with a few coats of some kind weather proofing finish. I use it indoors. Some of the holes were slightly missaligned. Now that I have had it for a month, I noticed the the wood frame has somewhat relaxed, meaning the the bow mearurments have changed. It has lengthend by about another 5 inches and so it's also a few inches shorter. There are hairline cracks starting to form and pieces of the surface are flaking off. That is cosmetic and can be smoothed out with sanding, but the hairline cracks concern me. It seems to me that the wood was not properly stored to begin with and now it's drying and cracking. It seems as if this company might using a couple of manufacturers to make this stand or that quality control is poor. The reviews are mixed and so it seems like it's hit or miss with what you get. I would be cautious in recommending this stand to my friends. I would not buy again.

It took two of us less than 30 minutes to unbox and erect this hammock. Looked in perfect condition and very sturdy as well as absolutely beautiful! Great price too! Got better directions from another sight since the ones enclosed were not very helpful.

Beautiful hammock stand! Prior to receiving the stand, I actually thought that the wood layers were thinner but, upon receipt and observation, they are nice and wide giving it a higher quality feel. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for any hammock lover; much nicer and better looking than the metal stands.

This stand is absolute garbage and isnt worth 1/8 of the cost. All of the beams are commercially grown weak pine and are laminated. The glue up between sections looks like family dollar grade furniture. Customer service number never gets answered and has a full mailbox. No response from a message left through their facebook page.

The hammock stand was easy to assemble and came with tools and hardware to put all the pieces together; however, the quality of wood is questionable and there is reason to doubt the stability of the wood. There are splits in the layers of glued wood and when I get onto unit I get the sense it will crack and bust my back, I’ve tried reaching out to seller but website is a forbidden url.
