This is comfortable for everyone, from the young grandchildren to the grandparents! We put it up 3 months ago and are already seeing stain from the humidity and mold but that is hard to avoid on a boat dock. It would probably last longer if it were protected. I am very pleased with this.

My last swing was tearing and fraying so I had to replace it. This swing is so lightweight and comfortable. The kids love getting in it and can stretch their legs out to lay in it. Great purchase!

This will be great for lighter smaller framed people. I do enjoy swinging, but cannot sit in it for too long as my legs get pressed by the edge. This may mean i need to lower it a little though. My son has one and his seems more comfy.

This is a nice hammock swing . I was unsure of which one to choose on amazon, since there are so many that look the same in a certain price range. I was most worried about cheap wood on the support, luckily this one has a very sturdy and sealed piece that seems that it will last, time will tell. The weaving seemed a little bit cheap in some spots, with unfinished end knots (more than what I would consider typical in a hammock), but it hasn't affected the function of it and it is very comfortable for everyone in my family to sit on. This was a great buy. Its comfortable to sit in anytime of the day. It makes me want to sit out on the back porch to relax all the time. We did get an extra link chain and a fastener to make it sit a little lower and now it perfect. Be carful that the ropes on the bar don’t slide out of place, which will cause you to sit lopsided. ... show more

As an very seasoned occupational therapist, I know that deep pressure touch and slow, rhythmic movement can be very calming and soothing for both children and adults. This swing allows my adult children and my preschool and elementary aged grandchildren to read, relax, listen to stories or music, while feeling like they are wrapped in a deep, long-lasting hug while floating atop a warm and gentle ocean.
