The material is very sturdy. The stand is easy to set up. Very comfortable. We haven’t tried it with two people in the Hammock but it is very comfortable for one person and there does seem to be more room for another person.

    • Solid hammock stand with a quality hammock for excellent price

While not the best hammock or hammock stand ever, you would be hard pressed to find higher quality for comparable price. The stand when first put together feels a bit flimsy, but once the hammock is in it and I get into the hammock, it feels completely sturdy. No notable bending in the bars, even after weeks of regular use. The ends of the stand have multiple locations for the hooks for customization depending on the type of hammock or the amount of tension you want in the hammock. The stand can be put together and comes apart very easily in a matter of minutes with no extra tools and fits easily in the included bag. While I mostly use it in the same space, it's nice to no I could pack it up and take it with me anywhere I wanted to go easily. I was also surprised at the quality of the included hammock. I read several reviews that said the hammock was of poor quality but the price for the stand was worth it and they just bought a separate hammock for it. I figured that was what I would do. But I absolutely love the included hammock. I'm not sure what the hate is on it. It's extremely well-made and very weather-proof (as I accidentally found out). It generally does cocoon around you, but you can actually adjust that in a couple different ways - by adjusting the hooks in the stand to giver more or less tension, but also adjusting the strings on each end of the hammock as they fold over the stand - have the strings on the outside spread to the outside of the stand as they fold over and the hammock stays more open, reverse them to the opposite sides and it will completely cocoon around you and hide you away from the world. I've found times and uses for both, so it's nice to have that option. Overall, an excellent value for the stand and the hammock. But yes, if you don't like the hammock for whatever reason, it's still a decent value for the stand, and you can use a different hammock on it if you so choose. ... show more

It literal took only 10mins to set up!! Its definitely holding up nicely and the material of the hammock itself is very soft and comfy..once i figured out how to adjust it to make it hang correctly it felt great to relax in (trial and error so it could clip to both ends..only took an extra 2mins to fogute out correct adjustments). DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT CAME WITH A PILLOW!! O was just gonna use an old living room pillow i don't lay on but this was an awesome bonus!! Plus the hammock colors are more vibrant in person than the pictures we see before we purchase it!! Love love LOVE IT!!! Just it time for outdoor college football season(we watch outside on projector) ... show more

We got this for our back deck to relax in. We were specifically looking for a hammock stand that was around $100, had a decent weight capacity, and came with its own hammock. We do have camping hammocks we could use in a pinch but those are more designed for hooking up to trees. This thing was a snap to put together once we figured out how to assemble (instructions are kind of meh, and located on the actual carry case). We didn't have any issues with the bolts not threading through the holes, everything fit together as it was supposed to. The hammock itself will need a bit of stretching the first time you hang it up, but after a few uses it's much easier to move to the lower heights. It's also very light and has a carry case to easily take camping or to a beach. Other reviews have mentioned a musty smell, which there is a slight odor but to me honestly just smells like outdoor fabric/canvas. Also, be aware that this style of hammock is meant for cocooning in and wrapping around you. It does not have a spreader bar at the ends to keep it wide spread. We prefer this style as it feels less tippy, but it does cut your peripheral vision because it comes up around your head. My major concern was sturdiness of the frame, as us being 300+ lb we didn't want to worry about smashing to the floor. So far it seems fine in that respect, but there is a lot of play as the steel poles will flex with weight so although I don't think it will bend out of shape or break, it doesn't feel exactly "solid." Once you have been in it for awhile after first using it, get out and readjust the screws holding it together as they will tighten further for better fit, like most furniture. Overall, we are really happy with this. Our friends who have used it also enjoy it. It's excellent for relaxing, sturdy enough for larger people, and light enough to move easily. It's also a great price point. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting an all purpose hammock at a good price. ... show more

Absolutely love this. It’s setup in our living room right now. Everyone in the family has used and loved this hammock and stand. Easy to setup once you’ve gone back to look at the photos. No instructions at all. Did come with an extra/spare bolt piece which I appreciate. Like all reviews say, it did stretch quite a bit after the first use and had to move the hooks down a hole for the second use. My husband is 260 and says it is comfortable and he enjoys. I am 150 and my child is nearly 50 and our dog is 20 lbs. The dog, my child, and I have all piled in and we’re able to comfortably to watch hours of movies together. I’ve even slept in the hammock myself one night. Can’t say enough good things about it. Arrived quickly. We are considering ordering a second and possibly third hammock to take camping, we will be buying this one when we do! Update: we bought 2 more (total of 3). We cannot get enough of these!!!
