I was a little skeptical at first but sharpening blades is a pain with a bench grinder. So I tried these out. Not bad. You have to get the right tilt to your drill by checking the shine on the blade but once you find it, it goes well.

Not impressed. I let my blades get will used before i resharpen them. So I use a grinder to put a good each back on them. I was going to try these to finish them up. I finally just got a hand file to finish sharpen

I purchased the three piece set of these and within 30 seconds of using them the stone stop spinning so I tightened the screw on top and that did nothing. These are junk, and I through them away as it was not worth returning. Don’t buy these as they are crap. I gave it one star only because it would not let me submit if I didn’t put something.

I'll just say it right up front that these are not as efficient as double stone sharpening stones that put an edge on both sides of something at the same time, BUT for single stone sharpening stones these are pretty nice. They are effective and as long as you don't put too much pressure on them they should hold up really well. For about $3 each I think it's a fair price for what you're getting. Unless you get careless or don't pay attention these will do a nice job of sharpening for you. Sometimes you'll get some vibration when using these, but typically that means you just need to adjust your drill speed or the amount of pressure you're applying. If you're patient and get your angle correct they will probably work fine in most scenarios. I prefer the double stone sharpeners for my application, but these are great for single stone sharpeners. I'd buy these again if I need more sharpeners. Do your own research before making a decision, but these are worth your consideration.

My husband requested this for our mower. As he was sharpening them blades something else broke and he hasn't been able to cut the grass to see if the sharpening worked!

Maybe this would work better for a straight blade, but it did not work at all for my curved mulcher blade. After trying for 5 minutes, I gave up and grabbed my file which was faster and did a much better job.
