I finally got around to replacing a wallet I'd had for a couple of decades and did some shopping around before deciding on this Travando wallet. I was attracted to the German design, but I should have known something this inexpensive would not be manufactured in Germany. When I opened the box, I saw a label, "Designed in Germany. Manufactured in China." I let out a groan, when I saw that. I've been increasingly concerned about all the business being done by Western firms and investors in China under the Chinese Communist Party and their current dictator, Xi Jinping. For decades, Western capital has financed the destruction of one of the oldest, most magnificent civilizations in human history--all for the sake of cheap goods that could be manufactured in other parts of the world with less horrible governments. Many of the goods I myself have purchased over the years have been made in China, so I certainly have no moral authority to lecture anyone about human rights. Yet now, in the wake of Xi Jinping backing away from the liberalism that had slowly crept into China under his predecessors, Hu Jintao and Jiang Zemin, this is more on my mind. It could be, sometime in the future, these Chinese-made goods--many of them are indeed well made--will become curious relics in the wake of the CCP's eventual downfall, much like German goods manufactured during the Nazi era. After all, no tyrannical regime lasts forever. That said, this is a well-designed, well-made wallet, and I'm going to keep it, since it was already paid for on the wholesale end. I'd only be hurting the retailer, if I sent it back. Yet, had I known from the outset this wallet was made in China during the Xi Jinping regime, I'd have likely kept shopping around. I'm trying to be more careful about what I purchase, in terms of where it's made. (However, with the preponderance of goods manufactured in China, this can be easier said than done. Still, I hope for a greater diversification of manufacturing locations in the future--especially in sub-Saharan Africa, which desperately needs investment more than just foreign aid.) ... show more

This is a nice slim wallet with integrated money clip. I had an older slim wallet that I was using in my front pocket and it was getting a little worn I wanted to replace it with a newer style. I love the design of this wallet and admittingly it does hold quite a bit of cards and money which is nice, it's somewhat a slim design although a bit bulkier than my previous wallet making it a little uncomfortable to place in the front pocket so I used it as a back pocket wallet instead which is fine. The only downside that I have with the wallet is the little emblem that they have on the wallet while looks nice actually is a bit of a pain when pulling it out and placing it in the pocket as well as leaving indents in clothing or furniture. If you are looking for this wallet as a front pocket wallet I would consider other options especially if you keep a set of keys in the front pocket as well. However if you want this wallet to go in your back pocket then this is quite a nice wallet to consider even with the emblem on it. ... show more

Overall, I really love this wallet for the price so far. I’ve had it for a few weeks now. I was surprised with how well the wallet was put together because the money clip is very tight after filling it with my essential cards. I was able to fit 10 plastic cards and two state ID cards with little issue. Please consider three things before buying this wallet. 1. When you fill the wallet with plastic cards it does make it difficult to fit in paper documents like insurance cards/vehicle registration papers/gift receipts… not impossible but difficult initially. This will likely get better as the wallet breaks in. 2. If you typically carry several plastic cards like me and also want to use the money clip, it is difficult to fit multiple bills. I don’t carry much cash usually, but I’ve noticed that more than 10 paper bills at once stresses both the clip and your patience. These are not necessarily flaws as it means the wallet is well constructed to last a few years in my opinion. 3. The external raised logo is a slight annoyance because I would it expect it will slowly pull off, or wear a hole in my jeans over time. Not a big deal if you are wearing anything other than skinny jeans. After all that, I would still buy this wallet again if it lasts 2+ years which is better than my previous Dockers wallet. ... show more

Got for my own use, and not a gifter reviewing a product they've never personally used. Generally good build and nice and slim. Without cards. Too tight and is very hard to get cards out if you have more than 2 or 3 on one side bringing the total up to 6 cards that you can actually store in the wallet, which while isn't bad isn't what I wanted either. Another issue is that it keeps slanting to one side because the money clip is uneven. If there was a way to remove the clip or if it was a flat piece of metal than the weird curve now it would have been nicer ... show more

This wallet is slim and compact, yet it has plenty of room for all of my essential cards. It has a convenient front pocket for easy access to my most frequently used cards, and the main compartment is perfect for carrying less frequently used cards. The wallet is made of high-quality materials and is very durable. It's also very stylish and looks great in my pocket. I love the slim design, as it makes my pocket feel less bulky and uncomfortable. Being in my seventies, I have many decades of carrying a classic trifold wallet. I was attracted to the new style, but not interested in shelling out big bucks ( I am used to spending in the twenties for my wallets). This purchase was a great one! It organizes all my cards and IDs. They are held securely, yet easily accessible. The money clip works well, holding currency in place, yet easy to get out and put back.
