I love Laura Geller’s makeup products! There is not one product she makes that I have not been absolutely delighted with so far! And here is ANOTHER one! I saw the blush serum on a social media ad, of all places. I already love her baked and brighten powdered blushes, but sometimes a girl with older, dry skin can use a little hydration. I went directly on Amazon (because I am spoiled like that and I love how easy they make it to get exactly what you want in just a few days!) and I looked up the product. After looking at the photos of the models with the different color skin tones, I finally decided on the Refreshing Rose color for my first try of this product. I got it pretty quickly, within 2 days. I took it out of the box, it was nicely packaged. It came with a clean, white, sponge tip applicator already attached, and a spare for later. I had to turn the dial at the bottom of the tube quite a few times before it primed the sponge applicator with any product. At first I wondered if I had received an empty tube?! But no, it’s in there, you just have to get it started. Once I saw the serum start to come up into the sponge tip applicator, I stopped turning the dial and just pressed the applicator to my cheek a few times and it wet the rest of the sponge applicator just fine that way. (I didn’t want to get it too sloppy and waste any product.) Wow. Let me just say. It IS definitely a serum. It glides on like silk and it blends like a dream. The color, like all of Laura’s products, is buildable, sheer, and so natural looking on the skin. I applied it to one cheek only and my sister and I did a “stare-and-compare” to my plain cheek. My sister said “Wow!! I love it! You look alive!” LOL! It’s beautiful. I am older (62) and I tend to have dryer skin, but I think this would be gorgeous on any skin type, of any age. When I first applied it and had those 3 little dots of blush on my cheek, I wondered if it would be too colorful. No. It blends so beautifully (with either a brush or your fingers!) and makes you look like you have a pretty, sexy little flush to your skin. I am pale with olive undertones. I mix Laura Geller’s Baked & Brighten baked powder foundation in Porcelain and Fair and it gives me the perfect skin tone match for my skin. Based on this and the website, I chose the Refreshing Rose as my “best” (most natural) match. But I would probably try a few more in other colors, I don’t think you could go wrong with this sheer formula. I like to wear warm colors, as well as cool colors, so I like to have lipsticks and blushes in reds, pinks, peaches, roses, mauves, and beige tones, on hand, so that I don’t look “off” when I change up my wardrobe colors. In not a Laura Gellar makeup fan, but I am a liquid or cream blush fan. This is by far the easiest blush to apply and move on skin. I'm 61 and it sits perfectly in my skin. I do not wear any foundation, only skincare and sunscreen. I do wear very light concealor Looks amazing just with it on its own

Love this product. At 74yrs of age it is difficult to find makeup products that brightens your complexion and doesn’t look heavy. I have tried many, many products. This one is perfect. Nice and sheer with the ability to adjust the color.

The media could not be loaded. Very nice color, sheer, blends easily. I used a brush and a sponge. The brush worked best for me, but it does remove alot of the blush. The problem occurred when I turned the bottom to release the color into the top dispenser. It leaks serum out and it continues to leak!! Messy. Doesn't appear to be any way to stop it! I saw this reviewed by a beauty influencer and it looked so pretty that I ordered it. First off the packaging feels super cheap. It feels and looks like a dollar store product. It does come with a sponge replacement which is nice but won’t be necessary since I won’t be using this. Second, the scent of the product is dreadful. It smells like chemicals. It’s really really bad. Nothing you put on your face should smell like this. It smells like paint thinner and nail polish remover. Third, the product itself is so sheer and in blending it in it just kinda disappears. I’ve tried to build it up and it’s like as you try to blend it in it just disappears. I finally got some buildup using a stippling brush instead of a sponge or my fingers. Set my makeup with my Charlotte Tillbury setting spray and went to work. By the time I got to work, the color was completely gone and it hadn’t been more than an hour. Luckily I had something in my purse to apply so I didn’t look so pale. This product is way too expensive to perform like this, smell like this, or to be packaged so cheaply. It’s not a good product. Laura Gellar used to be a really quality brand, but in the last few years quality has been hit or miss. Pass on this product. Close to $30 totally wasted. ... show more

    • Difficult to Dispense and Use

This product is very hard to dispense, even after tapping for several minutes. The color is very sheer and takes several applications to get the right color. Although we had good reviews, I will not be purchasing this product again.
