The makeup primer is of a form and consistency that I haven't experienced before with makeup primers--It's a cream, like a lotion-like moisturizer. I wasn't sure how it would be a better foundation for my makeup more than the face cream I already use, but somehow it creates a layer that helps my medium-tinted sunscreen, foundation/concealer, contour products, and blush from settling in fine lines and pores. Because it's a cream and not a silicone-based product, it's incredibly lightweight and doesn't feel heavy. My favorite has to be the setting mist though, which smells amazing. The scent lingers and I could smell it for at least an hour after misting my face with it, but it smells so good that I was fine with this. It set my makeup all day, even with sweating and rain. It's not sticky, and both products are easy to apply. The size of both containers are also quite large compared to other makeup primer/setting sprays. The only issue I had was that I first received an open bag with a missing setting spray. I ordered a replacement and promptly received a replacement of both and just need to send back the bag with the missing spray. Other than that, I am very happy with these products.

I think this is a very nice value set, the primer is one of my very favorites as I've found it works well with almost every base I've tested- "silicone" or "water" based and I've repurchased versions of it many times. You get double the amount of most primers on the market as well with a 2 ounce tube, the pump dispenser works great. It's smoothing without being thick and has a light gel texture. This is the first time I've tried the Bronze shade, my favorite is the Champagne. I am ghostly fair and the bronze was quite a bit more pigmented than I expected, but it sheers out but does leave a darker bronze cast that doesn't quite work as well for me. Under base makeup it's not noticeable, but I wouldn't buy this shade for myself again. It would be beautiful light-medium-dark skin. The Spackle Spray is a product I hadn't tried before, and it's a bit misleading. It's not really much of a setting spray, it's more of a hydrating mist, similar to MAC Fix+, it even contains oil quite high on the ingredient list which isn't great for makeup longevity. I have very oily skin and used this under and over my makeup, it didn't do much. I think it would be very well suited for dry, very dry and mature skin, and probably best underneath makeup so you can get the benefits of the skincare ingredients included. It does have a very nice fine mist and a coconut kind of scent. Overall I think it's a good set even if everything wasn't perfect for my needs personally, do really like most of the Laura Geller products I've tried, especially for the price point.

I'm generally a fan of Laura Gellar products, but these two didn't really suit me. I have pretty fair skin, and looking at the bronze glow primer you would think it would be an absolute train wreck. We're talking quite dark when dispensed. Amazingly it blended right in. I don't love the feel of it, but that's a personal thing. It did seem to enhance both the application and longevity of my makeup. I especially like the fact that it delivers on it's pore minimizing promise. Nothing is perfect, but this definitely smoothed things out a bit. As other reviewers have said, the spray has a bit of a scent to it, which starts out strong, but quickly dissipates. While it made my skin feel moisturized, and "happy" I did not notice that it enhanced either the look or the wear of the makeup I applied it over. Maybe I was expecting too much, as s spray is not part of my regular routine. Would I use it again? Sure. Would I make it part of my regular routine? Probably not. Despite my somewhat mixed results, I would say this is a great duo, and in the right hands probably produces very good results. In my hands, it was just okay on results, but definitely made my skin feel "happy".

I love these together! I give my sunscreen 3-4 minutes to absorb and then apply one pump of primer over my cheeks and T-zone. After 1-2 minutes of that setting up, I use concealer where I need to and then dust my usual LG powder foundation onto my nose and cheeks. Let that sit for a minute or so, then I spray on the setting spray. This combination gives me a just-applied look all day, even in high heat and humidity. The diamond stuff in the primer just gives a pretty glow. It’s not like a disco ball or even as shiny as a highlighter. I love it!

These products have been game-changers in my routine. The spackle mist did a fantastic job keeping my makeup in place for my brother's wedding over the weekend, even for 10-ish hours in humid weather. It went on easily and didn't cause my face makeup to separate at all like I've experienced with other brands. The star here, for me, though, is the primer. This primer has become a staple for me. It goes on so beautifully, is incredibly hydrating without being greasy, and leaves me with a smoothing effect and the prettiest rosy glow! It makes a perfect base for makeup and seems to reduce it settling into fine lines for me, too. I also notice my makeup stays on better with it. It's definitely my favorite primer I've used, and I've tried quite a few higher-end ones. I'm so glad I found this set!
