So, I just used this palette for the first time the other day when I unexpectedly had to be at a gathering. I didn't have any eyeshadow brushes or primer with me, so I just applied "bloom" all over my eyelids and brow bone & "dusty rose" using my fingers in the outer corners and just a bit in the crease. It went on surprisingly well with my fingers! It gave a nice, pretty but not too made-up look. Also, even with no primer it still looked nice after about 8 hours- no obvious creasing or oiliness. That said, I am glad I got it on sale as I may not get a lot of use out of the shimmer colors. ... show more

I expected this to be a bit more rosey and a bit less rusty. Most of the shades are browns and they don't vary a whole lot. Not as pigmented on the skin as I expected. I hadn't tried this brand, but now that I have I probably wouldn't but again. I prefer Morphe and Too Faced.

I bought this set to take with me on a recent trip and I love how well this color palette worked for every occasion! I am older and the pigments glided over my skin smoothly and the colors are pretty in so many different combinations. I am very picky about my makeup so I was hesitant to buy this sight unseen. This stuff blends beautifully and stays on all day. The colors are natural which I appreciate. I will definitely buy more of this brand of makeup.
