I love this for the price. It is a soft everyday - keep in your desk drawer type of palette. However it is not like the pigments we have everywhere today. This is a shadow and really needs something to stick to and layering /blending. Be patient with it- and thank back to days before morphed and judge it on an Almay Revlon level. It's good / great even but go into it knowing this is a softer look

First off, the pressed eyeshadow is loose in the box if I turn my pallet upside down they all fall out. So be careful that. And the amount that is in there is not that much. I did try using a couple of the shimmer’s and they seem to be OK but it is a little sheer. I thought this would be a little more pigmented, but I haven’t use all of the colors yet, but we will see in time. I don’t hate the product but I’m not 100% happy with it. I will use it up. I am pretty sure I’ll be able to blow through the small amount that we got with this package probably within three months and I’ll have to buy a different makeup pallet. I mean I got what I paid for so I can’t complain too much. I think the biggest thing that bothers me is that there is not much product for each color and they are loose and at risk of falling out or turning upside down. It’s just not very neat and I have to worry about my eyeshadow while I’m doing my make up, I can’t just do my make up and not have to worry about if my colors are going to fall out of the trays.

Update! Even though I wanted more of a bubble gum pink palette, these shadows are gorgeous, and I am glad that I got them. My skin tone is light/ medium with yellow/olive undertones, the shadows are buttery and pigmented without being chalky- they blend easily. I was able to create a soft but obvious pink-ish look and feel that this palette is super underrated. Original review: Full disclosure: this is only a review about the color story, not performance as I have not tried it yet. I bought this because I wanted to add light pinks to my collection, as I mostly have browns and purples. The matte shadows in this are almost all some shade of taupe (yes I know it's in the name) and a couple of the shimmers are some version of pink. That said, they look nice and I do look forward to using them to create a work friendly look. Will update after I use them.

This is a beautiful pallet, very useful colors for a neutral or warm skin tone, and its as advertised, it works for all seasons and occasions. My only gripe is it isn't very pigmented. You have to *really* slather it on for a modest amount of color to actually show up at all. The glitter pallet shows up fine, but the color part of the pallet doesn't show up on your skin unless you put on a primer of some kind (which isn't in everyone's arsenal). So long and short of it is its a great pallet (love love love the golds and coppers!) but you have to really really *really* layer it on to make it do its job.
