Hi - this is very thin, as others have said, but it just a cover for a Duvet, not a duvet. I wanted something pretty, but light weight to have on my bed mainly for looks since our bedroom can be seen from our living room. I didn't rate the other questions as I just put it on our bed and it is wrinkled from being in a package. I bought a matching pillow for it. The Sham covers are more like pillow cases, which I love because I don't have to either have extra pillows to take off the bed at night, nor take the shams off every night when I go to bed.I am including photos of the other side as it's hard to tell from the photos in the ad. I think the other side is very pretty too. Sorry... a sweet dog doesn't come with your purchase! ... show more

This duvet is not for queen size comforter. Would fit a twin or full better. Washed it as it smelled like chemicals when I opened it. Came out very wrinkled. Needs to be ironed. Pretty pattern though.

The duvet cover IS a little stiff, as others have mentioned. But I feel sure it will grow softer with time, and the sturdiness is important to me—I’d rather have well-made and long-lasting than delicate and fragile. I’m very happy!
