I purchased these Smoky Mountain western boots in size 12 Wide for my teenage son. He’s tall like his Daddy. The boots are a beautiful reddish brown color and fit like a charm. He says they are very comfortable. My son has had many compliments on these boots. He uses them for horseback riding and they are exactly what he needed and wanted. My son is not done growing. We will be back to buy another pair in size 13 Wide.

Feels good on my feet

This is my first pair of western boots and I like them but they are a little large at the ankles. I bought some motorcycle straps to put around the ankle area to tighten them up and that helps but that made them wrinkle and it hurts my ankles if I am on my feet for a long time. Mostly though they feel better than the regular boots that I wear. Not very good tread on the sole but I mostly walk on paved areas so mostly that doesn't matter that much. I did wear them on my roof and felt safe enough up there with them.

Still wondering about them

I first purchased theses in 11 and they fit good but the problem I had was the heel block started to come off after two weeks of wearing them. They leather of the lower seemed to stretch some which made the boot loose, I use them for yard work now. I then purchased the same boot in 10.5 and have zero issues, just a really good boot so far. Very happy.

Fit perfectly, got here in three days. Quality seems pretty great, mainly gonna wear when I ride. Would definitely order again UPDATE: Been about a year and the boots are still kicking! I’m not exactly easy on these boots when I wear em, either. Definitely exceeded my expectations. UPDATE: close to 2 years later and I’m STILL wearing these boots. Love em, gonna order another pair when these are finally done for. But who knows how long that’ll be 🙌🏼 6 year update: They’re still stompin’! They’re dirty, used, and starting to fold and bunch up, but man these are still my favorite boots I own. I’ve worked in these, rode in these, ran in these, only thing I haven’t done is swam in these, and even then they’ve definitely gotten wet. I’ll absolutely buy another pair if these ever disintegrate. Now, I don’t wear them every day all the time, but when I do they’re definitely abused lol.

My husband just bought these boots. He was excited to know they where made in the USA. Sad to say, upon arrival last week, we learned they are made in India. The big issues: they don't fit -- way too tight around the side of his feet, even though he ordered the EE version. The upper material is very thin and cheap feeling. These will be sent back ASAP. He'll buy from a local shop, the old fashioned way (try em on, walk around... ).
