I'd bought a few different colors of these in person and was impressed with how silky they felt and cute. They're not quite as nice to step on, because the pile is somewhat open, and you can feel the bits underfoot. But, it looks really great with the soft, slightly shiny, different size pile, which almost looks like a color gradient b/c of the shininess. I ordered this one in a different color for someone who likes pink, and got a defective mat (as you can see strings of the pile hanging off the back side of the mat). I would've ranked this item higher, except for receipt of a damaged item. I just initiated customer service and have no comment on the seller. ... show more

Sad, sad customer here. I bought a Laura Ashley bathroom rug set from a store, but the color didn't go with my bathroom, so I put it in my husband's bathroom. It has great backing that is as close as to non-skid as there can be for a bathroom. So I wanted to get one for my bathroom for that reason. First, the color is awful, gawdy, whatever you want to call it that makes it the first thing you look at when you walk in the bathroom. It is a seriously bright blue for it being "aqua." Also, when you step on it or run your hand across it, the fiber pats down and it has a different sheen to it, so it ends up looking tie dyed. Second, it is soft, but it is soft because of a slippery feel to it. It definitely doesn't feel like my other set. Third, it is actually an inch shorter in length. Not a huge difference, but it is; it's 44 inches, not 45. Last, the backing is not the same as my other Laura Ashley chenille set. This backing is labeled as "spray latex," while the store set is "TPR." As I took the rug out of the package and attempted to unfold it, the back of the rug stuck to the other half of the back of the rug. This did provide some resistance when placed on the floor, but I don't think this backing would stand up to a wash in the washing machine. ... show more

I love the rug set which I got in Charcoal gray as I re-painted my bathroom & wanted a expensive looking rug set to finish the look! You will not be disappointed! I do not recommend the Gorilla rug!!
