These are very comfortable shoes I needed them because whenever I wear sneakers anymore they are often very tight fitting and or very narrow and so when I looked at the reviews for these shoes I went half a size up because I'm a 7 and a half so I got an 8 and they don't feel tight or narrow on me. Cute Dr. Scholl's sneakers. I've never owned this brand of shoes but I know they've been around forever. I'm getting to an age where I value comfort over style - but I was hoping for both out of these shoes. They look really nice, super cute color for fall. As far as size they seem to run true to size. The laces are not elastic and must be tied. Not a huge deal but I have come to love sneakers I can just slip on without hassling with laces. The shoes felt really comfortable but... they are too wide around my heel. I could tell when I took them out of the box if they would probably be too big/wide.. and I was right. Even with the top hole laced the shoes slipped up and down. No way I could size down - they'd be too small. I was truly hopeful I'd found my shoes - comfort, style, and hopefully durable. I don't know if these are authentic Dr. Scholl's because they hurt my feet so bad. They seem flat, like there's not arch in them. I've had foot issues for the last few years; I had a clothing subscription membership and one of my orders included some Dr. Scholl's sneakers. I didn't wear them right away but when the issues started in my feet, I remembered I had them; and they were so comfortable. So, I decided to purchase another pair...these weren't it! ... show more
