Got this laundry bag as a travel laundry bag for our upcoming trip in a few months. Tried it out today at home. Got 2 loads of laundry, loaded the bag up, still had more room for more. The mesh pocket is too small to fit any kind of laundry detergent bottles in unless it's a mini one. I'll be using laundry detergent sheets, and dryer sheets, so no problem there for me. Not sure what the other reviewer was talking about needing a wrench to get the straps in, mine were already pre-assembled and ready to go when I received the bag. I'd have to say though, with 2 loads of laundry in the bag, the bag got pretty heavy for me, and the straps did dig into my shoulders. I'd say that's the only downside of the bag. There's a hanging loop at the top of the bag, so you can actually drag the bag with the loop if it gets too heavy to carry. It folds up to just a little bigger than my hand, and it's light, great for travel! I'll come back to update if it doesn't hold up.

The material is decent but the problem with a bag such as this is that the material isn't as pliable as is that of a normal laundry bag, which has a degree of give. This bag feels more like the kind of material which low quality piano bags are made of & those don't tend to be very sturdy, nor do they last for very long. I also think that the premise of filling this bag with 3 loads of clothes is quite a stretch. That is, unless we're talking about your sister's old Suzy Homemaker Washing Machine, in which case, yes...you'll be able to fill it with 3 loads from THAT machine. I also appreciate the fact that they didn't attempt to fool anyone by including some poorly-padded backstraps which end up feeling like hot blades across your shoulder blades. For my part, I'll simply continue using it for very light loads...T-Shirts, socks, briefs, but absolutely nothing heavy nor bulky such as jeans or sweatsuits. If that's how you intend to use this bag, then I'll recommend it with 3 stars, but ONLY under those conditions.

Contrary to the grandiose claims in this product's description, it does not hold nearly as large of a load of clothes as it claims. This bag will NOT carry or “hold up to 3-4 loads” or is "suitable for a family". The bag is not big enough. I’m not sure how long this particular laundry bag will last but I am CERTAIN that it is of low quality. I know what a TRULY quality laundry bag backpack looks like and this is NOT one of them. The material it is made of is just thin polyester. Which may or may not be resistant to tears, rips or punctures. And, what are supposed to be shoulder straps are flimsy. This product is just a basic laundry bag. Nothing more. Given the choice, there are other bags to choose in this particular style that are much superior.

I was a little concerned that at this price point this laundry bag would be poorly made, smaller, or otherwise not as good as I hoped. On the contrary, this is much much better than I would expect at this price. I got it to bring on vacations, to keep dirty clothes separate from my clean ones and still be able to transport it easily from place to place. For that reason, I liked that it has the backpack option. The backpack straps, the connections between the strap and the bag, the material, and the bag tightening mechanism all seem well made for such a cheap item. It really seems like it is tough and will withstand quite a bit of use and abuse. The bottom is reinforced to prevent it from coming apart, and even the mesh pouch in the front seems reasonably substantial. I am very happy with this purchase and am looking forward to lots of travels with it.

I was really excited about this laundry bag backpack, but now that I've used it, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The material feels strong, which is great for my repeated trips to the laundromat. But, honestly, it's smaller than expected – can't even fit detergent and softener in the outside pocket when it's full, unlike what the misleading picture shows. *Just want to note that I'm a single user and still find the size limiting. Adding to my frustration, one of the buckle straps was sewn on backward. So, when I thread it to keep things tight, I'm stuck wearing the backpack with the strap twisted. Super uncomfortable. I'm truly disappointed with these shortcomings as they significantly impact the overall practicality and comfort of the backpack.

First thing, this was not big enough to carry my full load of laundry. It has a zippered pouch on back of bag however when bag is full you can't use it for anything anyway, maybe a laundry card. The straps are not hooked together when you get the bag, you have to thread them through the buckle and I needed a wrench to pull them through because the slots in the buckle were so tight. The shoulder straps are plain nylon so it might hurt your shoulders with no padding.
