As you can already see, I'm a Vine reviewer, so you might think I'm automatically going to gush over a product because I got it free. Hah! I've been writing more 1 star reviews lately than I care to remember. But for months I've been looking for a hamper to fit in my bathroom. It's a tight space, but I knew I'd eventually find something that would fit. When I ordered this I wasn't sure it would; the dimensions slightly exceed the width of my space. But I figured I'd give it a shot and if it didn't work in the bathroom we might find another use. OMG! I am going to gush about this, so be forewarned. First of all, it's so well made, I can't believe the price. I have a feeling they offered it me at an incredibly unrealistic "price" just so they could get it in the hands of enough reviewers to reach their sweet spot of reviews so they could start actually selling it on Amazon. (Vine reviewers get the products for free in return for a fair review, but we are still on the hook for declaring it as income and paying taxes on it.) I'll try to keep this review concise; I'm not good at that! Imagine how well you'd want this hamper backpack to be constructed. Imagine how much quality you'd hope it had. Imagine how well it would work, not only as a hamper while it sat on your floor, but also as a backpack to transport your laundry to your laundry room down the hall, or to a laundromat in your apartment's basement or across town. Now imagine that this hamper/backpack exceeded your expectations in every way. That's where I am! It is sturdy enough to stand upright and let you toss in dirty clothes (in my case, dirty washcloths and towels) without collapsing. You want it to be made of a breathable fabric that will let the laundry air out and dry out before developing smells. You'd want it to be flexible enough to be able to fit in spaces that might be an inch or two too narrow for it. And you'd want it to be comfortable as an actual backpack, if you choose to use it that way. 5 stars on every aspect. Believe me, I don't often gush about products, but this one has me blown away. I think back to my college days and my first few post-college apartments. I sure wish I'd had this hamper backpack. It would have made my life so much easier! If you are reading this review, I suspect it's because you have a need for this. Don't hesitate to order this. Make sure you read the description, and know it's dimensions and features. If it sounds like what you want, trust me, it is! I'm thrilled with it. I think you will be too.     • I LOVE This Backpack For Laundry & More
I was having to go to the laundromat to help my son while he was moving. I had never really done laundry much at a laundromat before and with the volume of clothing that I took there, it was quite inconvenient. When I saw this knew it was something I would want to try in case that ever happens again. This is perfect! It is roomy inside enough to get the clothes down into the backpack without much of a struggle at all, but not so big that it will be a difficulty to carry it. The material seems sturdy and the metal frame seems strong. I love that I can load this and put it on my back and still be able to carry a basket in front of me if need be. The seller, boasts that this backpack stands on its own even when it’s empty, making it an ideal hamper for a dorm room, travel, camping, or picnics. Also that it is perfect to take to the laundromat so you can open doors and make laundry day tasks easier. It also has pockets where you can put your quarters as well. I agree with both of these claims from the seller. The bag is actually very deceiving and it holds quite a bit of laundry. Plus, it actually has material at the top with a drawstring that gives you the ability of packing it to the hilt without anything spilling out that you have cleaned and folded already. This bag holds so much laundry! The sides of the square portion are really rigid, there's some kind of paneling on the inside of the wall. You get extra space on the top because it's a drawstring section but you can also fold that back over the edge to use it as a hamper. It's got plenty of storage on the outside for dryer sheets or what have you and the shoulder straps are really well padded. This is great for a college student or if you go to a laundromat to do your laundry, super easy to transport a lot of laundry. You could easily do clothes or bedding in this. ... show more

    • Terrific laundry bag, and not just for college students
I'd been looking for a standing laundry basket that would fit in a narrower space than my current one. This one is perfect for me. It's extremely roomy but narrower than most (also, a tad taller than the one it's replacing). It's made of a sturdy canvas with an inner metal frame that holds its shape. In my home, it's only traveling from the bedroom to the laundry room, but if you were to need a laundry bag to take to the laundromat, this one has big backpack straps for that purpose. I will say though that it would make a huge, rather cumbersome backpack. I'm not using the pockets, since everything I need is already in my laundry room, but those, too, are ample. And if the price stays at or near the current one of $15.39, it's also a great buy. ... show more
