These jeans look great and the material feels great, but they are not true to size. My actual waist is 33, I got a 34, and they fit really snug without a belt. I should have ordered a 36, but I thought a 36 would be too big. So my recommendation is to get a size bigger. If you wear a 33 or 34, get a 36. If you wear a 36, get a 38. Also, be advised that the pants button isn't all that great and doesn't feel secure, so you have to be gentle with it. Other than that, they are great jeans. They look good and feel good. I guess it depends how tall you are, but I'm 5'11, bought size 34 shorts and they stop right below my knee, so if you're shorter these may be too long.

These shorts are very small compared to my other pair of the same size. I can fit in them, but when I walk, the shorts legs are connected so low that it's like walking with the top part of my legs bound together. It's not only uncomfortable, but also a little painful because it hurts my back. I've ordered a replacement 2 sizes higher and I'll see if those are any better. I'll be returning at least the smaller ones.
