  • Which Khamrah should you get? Original? Qahwa or Dukhan?
Scent: Vanilla
Khamrah has been hyped for years now, but is it really worth the attention? Here are some of my thoughts based on my experience with the Original Khamrah, Khamrah Qahwa, and the newest release, Dukhan. Hopefully, this helps you decide which one might suit you—or if you’d rather skip them altogether. Original Khamrah: Personally, I didn’t enjoy this one. To me, it smells like a wax candle you'd find in a church or something from Yankee Candle (though I can’t pinpoint the exact scent). It’s extremely sweet and very boozy. This is a definite winter fragrance and while it does smell high quality, it’s just not my style. I usually avoid overly sweet scents. However, I can see the appeal—if you enjoy strong, sweet, and boozy fragrances or like that church candle vibe, you’ll probably appreciate this. For under $30, it smells far more expensive than it is. Some people compare it to Angel’s Share by Kilian, and while I don’t think they smell exactly the same, they do share a similar DNA. Both lean toward a boozy, cinnamon-heavy profile. However, the execution is different enough that I wouldn’t call Khamrah a direct dupe. If you're familiar with Angel’s Share, you’ll recognize some of the elements, but Khamrah takes its own path. Khamrah Qahwa: This is where the magic happens. If you didn’t enjoy the Original due to its overwhelming sweetness and you like coffee notes, this is the one to try. It tones down the sweetness of the Original and introduces a smooth coffee scent that blends beautifully. That waxy candle smell is gone, replaced by something richer and more mature. It leans boozy and sophisticated—perfect for men over 30 or anyone with a more refined style. I personally enjoy Khamrah Qahwa far more than the Original in every aspect. It’s not trying to copy any niche or designer fragrance, but it stands strong on its own as a very well-blended scent. At around $25, it’s an incredible value and smells like something much more luxurious. Dukhan: The newest release comes in at about $20 more than the others, but when I first smelled it, it immediately reminded me of the Original Khamrah. It’s like a toned-down version of the Original with a subtle hint of spice. Not drastically different, but enough to notice. It still carries that candle-like vibe, just less sweet. If the Original gave you a headache, this one might be more tolerable. It’s still boozy and sweet, but slightly more balanced. I’d say it’s a more wearable option if you're curious about the Khamrah DNA but want something less intense. Final thoughts: Everyone’s nose is different, and we all have unique scent preferences. As a small fragrance collector with around 50 bottles, including both UAE and designer brands, my clear favorite is Khamrah Qahwa. It strikes the perfect balance of sweetness and warmth, with that standout coffee note that I absolutely love. I picked it up for $25, and it’s also available at Burlington for about $35. It’s ideal for cold weather, date nights, or any winter occasion where you want to smell refined without overspending. If you're just looking for a safe blind buy or something more universally appealing, Khamrah Qahwa is the way to go, especially for men over 30 or those with a mature style. If you’re curious about the Original or Dukhan, I’d recommend Dukhan since it offers a similar scent but is a little more toned down. That said, I’d wait for the price to drop below $30. If you’re into very sweet, loud, boozy, and cinnamony scents, the Original might be for you. I hope this helps you choose the right Khamrah for your collection. ... show more

  • Perfect warm, cozy, intimate scent for fall/winter! Perfect warm, cozy, intimate scent for fall/winter!
Scent: Vanilla
TL;dr: Buy this now! I’m a fragrance girlie and quite a collector. However, this is my first purchase of a Middle Eastern brand. It was also a blind buy for myself as a Christmas present. Shipping: It arrived very quickly, on time, and in great condition, so if you’re needing a gift for someone, this is a reliable seller. I didn’t need customer service support at all. Packaging: Wow! Just wow! The perfume bottle box is high-quality, thick material and quite large. I was incredibly impressed when I took it out of the Amazon box. It looks very high end, unlike the cheapie boxes most American and European perfumes use. Bottle: The perfume bottle is also impressive and hefty in weight. It’s beautiful, very akin to the bottle for Angel’s Shade by Killian, except boxy on bottom. The lid looks like glass, but I think it’s good quality plastic. However, I can’t be sure. It looks just like the bottle, but a little lighter weight. The bottle itself is glass. It reminds me of a glass liquor decanter. Scent: It’s a very beautiful, complex, wintry scent that immediately feels like wearing a cozy sweater while a holiday candle wafts around the room as you read a book in the glow of the Christmas tree lights, sipping cinnamon apple cider while snow falls gently outside. It’s a cozy, intimate, familiar hug in a bottle You’re definitely only going to want to wear this in the fall/winter months. If I had to give a simple description, it would be a smooth spiced vanilla dancing around a woody base. It’s fantastic right out of the bottle on arrival, but if you leave it in a cold, dark place and allow it to macerate for about a month, the vanilla becomes more prominent and the whole scent smells even better. This is especially true if you aren’t quite sure of how you feel about it on arrival. Give it a few sprays, then allow it to macerate, and try it again. You won’t be sorry! The closest other scent I can compare this to would be Killian’s Angel Share, which I love, but I find it quite cloying. I actually love this bottle of Lattafa Khamrah Qahwa so much more than Angel’s Share, and it’s significantly easier on my bank account! It is a unisex scent that leans more feminine due to the sweet vanilla’s prominence tempering the spices and woodiness. My personal body chemistry brings this out more, I think. HOWEVER, men, don’t shy away from this! It isn’t overly feminine at all, and certainly not a floral by any means. I tried it on my boyfriend, dad, and mom, too. When smelling it on my boyfriend and dad, I smell more of the soft spiciness and wood. The vanilla is just there to prevent the spices from being overwhelming, I think. My boyfriend and dad both were willing to try it, and they are more masculine-leaning men, one being in the military and the other being a grumpy boomer, lol. My boyfriend liked it a lot and sprayed more on himself to go to our family Christmas events. My dad said cologne in general is not his cup of tea, but he did enjoy the scent. When asked, neither thought it was too feminine. My mom loves perfume, and she really loved the scent of Khamrah Qawah, too. She likewise wanted to wear it to our holiday events. She said smells warm, inviting, comforting, and familiar, although she couldn’t put her finger on why. It’s not a clean scent. Projection and sillage: Whew! This is some strong, concentrated stuff! I sprayed one spray on my wrist and one on my clothes, and my parents could both easily smell it across the room. I can’t really evaluate the sillage yet, but from its ability to project, I assume the sillage is also good. The strength reminds me of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid. Other recommendations: This smells great when layered on top of EOS Vanilla Cashmere or Palmer’s Tahitian Vanilla lotion. Pairing it with Palmer’s Brazilian Coco Cream body butter is also good, although a bit too much. The Brazilian Coco Cream is a great dupe for the more expensive Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream, btw. Overall Recommendation: If you’re looking for the perfect cozy perfume/cologne to wear for the fall and winter months, buy this now! You won’t regret it! ... show more

  • I usually don't trust the hype, but this one actually makes sense.
Scent: Vanilla
I’ll be honest, I bought this mostly because I couldn’t escape the noise about it. Everywhere I looked, people were talking about Lattafa Khamrah Qahwa. As a guy who collects action figures and loves finding hidden gems, I usually stay away from the "viral" stuff because, let's be real, hype doesn't always equal quality. Everyone has a different nose, and half the time, these "must-have" colognes end up smelling generic or just weird on me. But I took the risk on this 3.4 oz bottle, and for once, I’m glad I did. The Scent & Sweetness: First off, the "Qahwa" part is the key here. It adds this roasted coffee vibe that cuts through the sugar. It is definitely sweet—don't get me wrong—but it’s a warm, spicy sweetness, not a candy-shop mess. You get hit with that cinnamon and vanilla immediately, but it feels cozy, almost like walking into a really nice bakery in the winter. It has a high-quality richness that I honestly didn't expect for the price. Wearability & Freshness: I was worried it would be too heavy or cloying, but it has a surprising wearability. It settles down nicely. It’s not "fresh" like a blue aquatic sport cologne; it’s fresh in the sense that it doesn't smell stale or old. It smells crisp, like cold air mixed with warm spices. I feel comfortable wearing this just hanging out watching movies or going out. Length & Quality: The longevity is legitimate. I sprayed this on in the morning, went about my day listening to music and running errands, and I could still smell that warm vanilla-spiced bubble around me late into the afternoon. It projects, so you don't need to bathe in it. The Khamrah Family: Original vs. Qahwa vs. Dukhan If you are confused about the different versions, here is my take as a regular guy trying to figure this out: The Original Khamrah: This one is super popular, but for me, it’s a bit too focused on the dates and sugar. It’s good, but Qahwa feels more "complete" because of the coffee note. Khamrah Dukhan: I’ve heard about this one being the "smoky" cousin. If Qahwa is a warm latte, Dukhan is supposed to be darker and ashier. Personally, I think Qahwa sits in the perfect middle ground—not too dark, not too sickly sweet. Verdict I am socially awkward and usually don't like drawing bad attention to myself with weird smells, but this makes me feel nice and put-together. It’s comforting. If you are skeptical like I was, I’d say this is one of the few times the internet got it right. It’s a supportive, warm scent that just works. ... show more

  • Absolute beast mode and super underrated Absolute beast mode and super underrated
Scent: Vanilla
I usually don’t even do reviews but I had to for this one. Honestly the packaging is insane it feels like I bought a $200 luxury cologne with how heavy the bottle is and how the box looks on my counter. The smell is phenomenal because it’s got that sweet vanilla vibe that makes people want to get close but that dark coffee and spice kick keeps it smelling like a man too. This stuff is super underrated and absolute beast mode for real. I put on a few sprays and it easily lasted over 12 hours on my skin and I could still smell it on my clothes the next day. If you want something that makes people stop and say damn you smell good without smelling like every other guy out there you need to grab this. It’s an absolute steal for under 30 bucks. ... show more

  • Much more feminine than masculine.
Scent: Vanilla
UPDATE ON REVIEW: After a few days and hours of fragrance settling later, my new conclusion is that the top notes are incredibly strong maybe TOO strong but after an hour or so, the mid notes are incredible and intoxicating. Initially, I was displeased with this blind buy and was upset with the top notes but days later, I'm finding myself spraying it while at home just to smell its mid and even more so, its base notes. I LOVE this cologne. It DEFINITELY grew on me. I almost gifted this to my mom and now I'm SOO glad I kept it for myself haha. Definitely a sweet sticky boozy vanilla top note with a settling Ice cream floral mid note and a musky almost caramel spice base. Definitely happy with this purchase after a few days. Might take some adjusting to tho ngl. Give it a chance to settle. That's all. Old review: Smells like an ice cream shop. It's sticky.. and sweet.. maybe TOO sweet.. definitely more feminine than masculine imo. Smells better on the skin than on clothes. You get what you pay for. Takes about 10 min for the floral and vanilla coffee scents to kick in. A winter brand for sure. It's ok. ... show more

  • Very nice perfume Very nice perfume
Scent: Vanilla
Omg this smells so good. It’s sweet, gourmand and last me literally the whole day. I spray it like 8 in the morning to go to school and when I come back like 5 in the evening it’s still strong. And I still smell it in my clothes when it’s time to wash them. It also has a coffee note I love. The bottle is super cute. I recommend ... show more

  • Holiday Scent
Scent: Vanilla
Smells like Christmas season. Warm, cozy, very autumn/winter. Like you entered a candle shop during the holidays. Performs well for the affordable price & a woman at the gym stopped me & gave a compliment so I guess it projects. I was hoping this would have more vanilla than spice to it. This smells very much like Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian, another very strong & affordable perfume. Unfortunately, I wore Shaghaf 6 yrs ago & tired of it so I'm disappointed this Khamrah smells too similar. I probably won't get through the bottle, but I gave it 5 stars because it's all around 5 stars. I'm just jaded with the scent. ... show more

  • Lattafa Greatness
Scent: Vanilla
★★★★★ 5/5 Stars Lattafa Khamrah Qawha is an absolute masterpiece. From the very first spray, the scent is rich, intoxicating, and beautifully crafted. The coffee note adds a deep, warm twist that blends perfectly with the sweet, spicy, and slightly boozy accords, creating a luxurious and comforting aroma that feels far more expensive than it is. The smell is bold yet smooth, drawing compliments every time I wear it. What truly sets this fragrance apart is its incredible longevity. It lasts all day and well into the night on my skin, with strong projection for hours before settling into a gorgeous, lingering trail. Even after a long day, the scent is still noticeable and captivating. If you are looking for a fragrance with an unforgettable smell and outstanding performance, Khamrah Qawha delivers on every level. Easily a 5 out of 5 star fragrance and a must-have in any collection. ... show more
