Sounds good, seems durable. I wIll probably stuff a piezoelectric mic in it at some point to make it an electric guiro. Very pleased with the sound, look, and size of it.

I love the way this guiro sounds it is fun to use good for playing "under the board walk". You can get some chop sticks and make some great sounds or use the stick it came with. There seems to be a piece of wood that was leftover from the manufacturing process inside that is stuck and can't get out. But it's like a feature now it doubles as a really quiet shaker. ... show more
