I have to admit that I use a lot of cotton swabs, mainly when I am doing my makeup. Usually they're used to clean up any fallout, when I mess up on my winged eyeliner, and also when I am doing my brows. When I got this I was a little worried about how it would actually work. I am very pleased to say that they work wonderfully! I was taking a closer look at one of the included swabs that looks just like a cotton swab. I saw that it had a slight texture to it which is perfect because that is what you would need to grab any dirt or wax if you were cleaning your ears for example. When I used it in my ears it felt just like a cotton swab but a little firmer. It was so easy to clean by washing it with soap and water and you can easily use rubbing alcohol if you'd like. This set comes with a variety of swabs to fit your needs. The one swab with the multiple little raised bumps is perfect for rubbing your eyeliner off using a little bit of makeup remover and also great for your lashes. You can also use one of these swabs exfoliate your lips. I like how it comes in a nice case with mirror. I love me so much, I am looking to get another set specifically for travel. Overall I think that this is a great deal and definitely is going to help me cut back on using a lot of disposable items. This is an A+ in my book!

I’m giving these swabs four stars because they work well enough to replace cotton swabs in my case, though they are not quite as easy to use. The case they came in isn’t helping or hurting the rating, though I wish for something smaller. I often use a cotton swab to wipe stray liquid eyeliner away, then I tuck it in my make-up bag to re-use, but the cotton ends tend to “frizz up” before I get to use them again. I like the idea of a re-usable swab I can clean that won’t deteriorate in my make-up bag. These don’t work quite as well as cotton for the mascara clean-up. It takes a couple of firm swipes to remove the mascara, where the cotton just took one, but they will get the job done without me getting mascara on my fingers. There are four types of tips: one swab has ends that have nubs, used for “feathering” eyebrows and eyelashes and it does work was an eyebrow or eyelash brush for separating; a second swab has a rounded end that is cotton-swab-shaped and the other end is similar, but pointed; the third has replaceable pads (a total of six are included) for smudge removal and sharpening. I thought the cotton-swab-shaped and the pads worked about equally well at clean-up, so I can just wash the silicone ends and won’t have to worry about replacement pads. The instructions say you can wash the swabs with soap and water. I assume you can wash the replaceable pads also, but it appears that they will wear out over time. My biggest complaint is the case. I wonder if the case has to be such a large piece of plastic, even if it is made from recycled plastic. It’s almost 5-1/2” long, 1-3/4” wide and 3/4” deep. I would prefer some sort of envelope that I could tuck into my small make-up bad. The case does come with a mirror, but I didn’t even realize that it had a mirror in the top at first. The top opens to the side and I’ve had some trouble with the swabs staying in their tray clips, so to hold the case upright so I can use the mirror risks the swabs falling out the back. I generally need a magnifying mirror for the applications I would use these with, so the case is just not helpful for me.

I'm forever getting mascara and eyeliner in places where I don't want it. These LastSwab® Beauty Trio Pro Reusable Cotton Swabs work well to gently rub those accidental messes away. The smooth round one also works great for smudging eyeliner. The two round ones I'm keeping in my bathroom for makeup application and mistakes. The flat one I will keep in my purse to wipe away smudges from under my eyes, as that area gets quite oily, and I end up looking a bit like a raccoon by the end of the day. I keep it in its case, so that I have its little mirror to look into to do a quick clean up a few times a day. It did take me a bit to figure out exactly how to use these, but I really like them. They work much better than I thought they would, and as long as you're gentle with them, they are not hard on the skin around your eyes. They are a great alternative to cotton swabs, and so handy to have around. I would definitely recommend them!

I thought I would love this product after my cousin recommended it, but I actually am not a very big fan. It's a great concept, but doesn't work as efficiently as I was hoping.

This LastSwab Beauty Trio is Great! These are such an innovative and useful idea! I love the nice container they are held in! It has a mirror on one side and folds up for easy storage in my makeup bag or drawer. They're made of soft silicone that's easy to wash and reuse, again and again. These soft silicone swabs erase, smudge, smear, feather, apply, sharpen, and remove eyeliner, eyeshadow, lip liner, lipstick, mascara and any other makeup application on your face. I love the fact that I don't have to worry about tiny bits of cotton getting stuck in my makeup from using a regular cotton swab. These are excellent! Great Value!
