Good because they are cheap. There is not much cotton, but that's by design. These work great for electronics work and for clean up of fine details. Works great for cleaning threads. Because they are low cost, the low absorbency can be overlooked. The sticks break easily with sideways pressure, but that hasn't been a major issue. These work well under a microscope and don't leave behind any fibers. These work well for cleaning between threads on used air fittings.

These were nice and sturdy. In the past I’ve used some where the cotton fuzz ends up in your work and these stayed together. They are easy to use the cotton part is a tiny bit thicker than some I’ve used in the past. They are still thin enough to clean tight spaces. I use them for both permanent makeup and nail art.
