It's pretty wild that you can buy a laser level (and plumb line) for so little money. As other reviewers have noted, the laser lines probably aren't bright enough to be visible at large distances outdoors, but it works like a charm indoors. The unit is solid and simple, and I suspect that it will remain functional for several years if treated with care. I can't say how this unit compares to other similarly-priced units, but this one is definitely worth the purchase price, if you have any use for a tool of this type.

I was really excited to get one of these laser levels and finally had a good project excuse to get one! 🤗 It’s pretty easy to use, but the problem I had was when I turned it to different angles for my project I couldn’t get it to stop blinking. Other than that, it was great. Levels easily, quality was great. Got perfect 90 and 45 degree angles for my projects!

I do sublimation printing, and use this to line up graphics. Having an X and Y axis is very helpful. The green laser is sharp enough for my purposes, and plenty bright in my shop. Not sure how bright it would be outside in full sunlight though. I've mounted it on a camera tripod, and been very happy with the results.

The laser is easy to use but starts getting off level as you tilt the tripod to the extreme levels up or down. The tripod is terrible. First it only goes about 2 feet high which makes it practically unusable up high on a wall in tight spaces like a closet or hallway. It’s also doesn’t feel sturdy and just feels cheap. Do yourself a favor and get a taller and sturdier tripod.

Got it for paneling on walls. The buttons are counter intuitive. However the bigger problem is that it doesn't actually self level or lock. The line keeps bouncing and pretty much useless. Bought it for the price. Once again proving that better to spend a few bucks more and get something that works rather than cheap junk. Will be returning to Amazon. Disappointed. Buyer beware.
