A fairly standard IPL device. A bit on the higher end of power and slower end of pulse rate that thankfully includes a cooling feature. These things get pretty hot and can cause a burning sensation but the cooling heavily offsets that. These guys need to improve their store page a ton though, they lack any major information about the device, but most importantly, they lack anything about what it can work on. This is important information you should know: 1. Only works on darker hair, will not work on light blonde, white, grey or red hair. 2. Only works on lighter skin, it will not work on black or dark brown skin. The reason for this is that the hair has to be able to absorb the light spectrum or it can't successfully kill the follicle, and if your skin itself absorbs those color bands, you're going to get burned. It does take 4-6 weeks to see solid results, but with regular use, the hair growing back will be thinner and thinner until it's eventually gone. Anyway, this IPL hair remover is pretty bare bones without much in the way of settings. Its main claim is its power, which is high but not enormously so. I have used IPL products in the past but I got them for alot less. They have worked fairly well but I have three girls in this house and we need one that will survive all of us getting treatments. The machine itself is has a much better build an is heavier than others I have used. The added ice cooling effect is amazing and it is very simple to use. Comes with a chart to walk you through the process. Love the LED screen and how easy this is to use. This is so much cheaper than getting all of us into a salon to get this done. I decided to try this product so ordered this one. This device is so easy to use and I can use it at home! Just received item. Instructions are clear and easy to understand/follow. Comes with everything you'll need plus a razor and protection. The media could not be loaded. The screen on this IPL is phenomenal. I absolutely love that it has touch screen buttons. The instruction manual is very detailed which made learning thus IPL very easy. It's very cool that this came with magnetic pieces that direct the light to certain areas better. The glasses are nice, I love how they fold for storage. I would have liked for it to have infinite pulses, but 999,999 is a lot anyway.
