The material quality is excellent with a modern design, making it look much more luxurious than other products I’ve used. You can easily adjust the grind size for either pepper or salt, and refilling is designed to be very convenient. The battery lasts for a couple of weeks on a single charge. Just one button? boom. really easy to use. Most importantly, the customer service team is extremely kind and responds very quickly. Although the price is indeed a bit higher than other products, once you use it, you won’t feel that it’s a waste of money.

Excellent product both aesthetically and functionally, but even better is the customer service. A couple weeks after receiving my order the salt grinder stopped working. Pushing the button would turn the light on but the grinder would not work. I emailed the Lars Nyson customer service and provided pictures and a short video of the defect. Within three days of that email a complete, new set was delivered to me and I have had no further issues. Again, a great product with even better customer service.

1/20/25 update I discovered nothing after dismantling one of the grinders and checking for anything obvious. There was no voltage after the USBC connection, when plugged into different chargers. Before discarding the grinders, I decided to try using my recliner charging connection, it worked. Later I found the charger for the grinders. Use the charger that comes with the grinders, its proprietary, or one with a low Amp output, your phone charger probably won't work. I should have returned them when I noticed that there was no charging indicator on either grinder. I charged them overnight before use and they worked less than 3 months. One grinder stopped after about a month and would not recharge. I tried charging with the base and directly to the grinder. I found the website for LARS and tried to contact them through their Contact Us link, each time the page would hang and the email wouldn't confirm delivery. I gave up. A week ago, the 2nd grinder stopped working and will not charge. $50 is not a small sum for such an item and it's my 2nd set of grinders, the first ones, (a different brand), were $30. maybe Amazon should vet companies a little more to make sure they stand behind their products. Waste of money.
