It has different grinding adjustments and does a great job. The container holds a good amount of sea salt and or peppercorn. It is very easy to clean. The material quality is excellent with a modern design, making it look much more luxurious than other products I’ve used. You can easily adjust the grind size for either pepper or salt, and refilling is designed to be very convenient. The battery lasts for a couple of weeks on a single charge. Just one button? boom. really easy to use. Most importantly, the customer service team is extremely kind and responds very quickly. Although the price is indeed a bit higher than other products, once you use it, you won’t feel that it’s a waste of money.

My wife and I love the design of these salt and pepper grinders, and yes, they work excellent when they work. It appears to be an issue with the salt mill only, but twice now, the charger on the bottom of the salt mill that attaches to the base has failed to make a connection. It works for 2-3 weeks and fails. I have exchanged it once, and the same issue occurred on the new set within 3 weeks. Even if you clean with an alcohol wipe, it might work for a few minutes, but it fails to charge again. You end up having to charge from the top USB-C plug and not the base. Why include a base if it won't work for the salt mill? This has not been an issue for the pepper mill. I think this is an engineering flaw, as the salt interferes with the charging, so the contacts should not be on the bottom. Very hard to find customer support in the US (the number is in Germany), but I just emailed them and will see what they say. Very disappointed they don't work correctly as advertised with the base.

UPDATE: Although the base stopped working - the company reached out promptly after the 1 star review and issued a full refund - I really appreciated that. It was hard to find the link for USA support Still going back to my Cole-Mason manual set though. Bought these to replace a manual set. The idea of a docking station vs batteries or individual charging seemed much better. The charger broke after 2 months. They have no USA support, so hoping Amazon will help get this replaced. Also, they get super greasy when using; so not liking these.
