Even in strong winds up to 50 mph it is still up. The mask has fallen off and crumbled due to sun. I was skeptical of the strength of the metal pole, spring and upper support. It has failed very well and it still dancing about as my scare crow in spite of monsoons in the Arizona desert. Would like to have an option of different masks and clothes so it can be used as a scare crow and as a Halloween decoration!

I bought this last year (2022) and it looks great. It held up after being up about a month and looking forward to using it again this year. I used balloons to fill out the head and body and looks almost lifelike when flying in the wind. The only issue was that the wire broke off one of the hands when I first put it together. I didn’t want to waste time sending it back and was able to solder it back in place with soldering iron. Otherwise, I believe this is the most sturdy and best looking one being offered on Amazon. Would still buy it again.

Excellent! This purchase is going to last several seasons i believe. I am not crafty or able to follow written instructions generally, but even i could put it together easily. The rods are super strong and out really does have a "creep" factor when it's turning in the wind. It's startled me a time or two. So worth the money!

The media could not be loaded. It didn’t come with any screws. I had some miscellaneous screws that worked out just fine. The right hand had a crack/small hole on it, but so far no issues. It’s eye catching throughout the neighborhood. I bought a green solar light so it can be seen at night. Ghost Face just goes with the flow on windy days! Overall…I love it!!

I read the reviews before buying this product. I saw how others rated it low for breaking easily. I had low expectations but it was good while it lasted I guess. This scarecrow arrived July 16 and broke on August 15. One whole month. The thing could somehow make it through a tropical storm but not a little thunderstorm. Interesting. The metal poles to stake it in the ground and hold it up are very flimsy and cheap. The welding is poorly done, too. It can easily break off (and it did!). The screws it comes with also don’t align with where it’s supposed to go which was also pretty annoying. You’ll have to screw in new holes on the hands just to make him hold onto the handlebars. It’s fun but truthfully can VERY easily be made at home and will still be cheaper than this. I don’t think this is worth $50. $30–maybe, but anything more is really just a rip-off. We’re likely going to buy new poles and make a more sturdy one.

This thing is pretty cool, however it has weak spots, literally. The arm wires are welded to the shoulder configuration but are very small and, after a few times bending the arms in for storage and out for display, I can see those tiny welds breaking. Another item of contention for me is that the metal braces that hold the hands onto the 'handle bar' are also weak, so much so that - on the one I have - the weld broke already on the left hand side after only one use. DO NOT try to get this thing back into the box it came in. As I stated, bending it repeatedly will weaken the welds. Find another box or store it hanging up somewhere. It's a neat looking decor, but not rugged.
