It's a nice, thick wool, feels like it will last for long time. The colors are as vibrant as the photos in the description, and it has plenty of room for our kitten to grow into it. Our shy kitten immediately jumped inside and seemed to feel safe in there. Even a very large cat would have enough room to turn around and curl up in it. The only, very minor, downside was that it came tightly wrapped, so it had a lot of creases and didn't pop up into shape immediately – the package slip recommended ironing to remedy this, and a bit of steam with the iron went a long way!

This bed is so cute and well made. My cat loves jumping in and using it as a hiding spot when she is "hunting" a wand toy and it's absolutely adorable. She also loves to pounce on the bed when the wand toy passes over it. Very happy I purchased! :)

Our cats love this, so we bought another. They are really good quality, thick boiled felt. They need some massaging out of the box but they took shape pretty well. Unfortunately, they become more like a jellybean shape as they start to sag a little bit. They need to be puffed up and shaped a bit, but for the quality, these are a good price and very cozy for the cats in winter.

I bought three of these for my cats. My skinny cat uses it as designed and likes the feeling of security and the warmth it holds. The large, athletic cat is too dumb to go inside and lays on top. It makes a nice bowl shaped bed though and he likes it. The small but very fat cat goes in but gets stuck coming out so she sits on top and turns it into a bowl too. On the whole, they like them/ The caves are fairly thick so they do hold warmth and stand up to kneading well. They catch every bit of dirt and fur so they don't stay nice long. Too expensive for what you get. You have to be as crazy a cat lady as I am to even consider ordering, but for those who want something for the cat, it'll do. It works better if you set it in a big easter basket. The handle and sides make it possible for the fat cat to get out without dragging it along.

I purchased as a gift for my daughters' cat. It's a lovey color made of wool, well put together, no complaints on appearance, certainly looks sturdy enough to serve it's purpose, would probably keep cats warm. Hole is big enough for a medium sized cat. However; after a first try with some difficulty getting out it, there was no further interest from her cats. I brought it home for my cats who love their cat beds, neither of them showed any interest, even when tempting them with putting a favorite toy inside. They took one look and turned away. I've kept it out for them since Christmas without any interest what soever. I am going to attempt to return it.

It's the Winter Solstice, and my cat is reclining on this bed. She loves it. I carry it from room to room now because the cat has chosen this bed as being of more importance to her than I am. I got this because my cats have traditionally loved felted cat toys. The feel of felted wool must be a deep pleasure to them. We move it to the bed at night so the cat can sleep in comfort. I move it to my study in the day time so she can be by my side. And it's in the middle of the living room floor when I watch the TV. Of course it picks up dust, cat hair, and other things floating about. I wanted to get a picture of her in the bed, but she turned around to avoid the camera. It's too early (about 3 weeks) to tell if this is a forever passion or only a passing fancy, but I've never known this cat to fall in love with something and then give it up. Most of my offerings are met with a baleful glare. This is what she's fallen in love with and we are very happy with it.
